Hello! I've never used a texture pack before and I'm proud to say this was my first Needless to say it's quite stunning, and one of a handful of the best ones I've seen (in my opinion), and believe me when I say I've been searching. I wanted my fist one to be well-worth the effort and I definately feel like this accompished that.
I would like to ask a few questions, however. First, I noticed that some of the flora and such look broken, meaning they look incomplete, such as the brown mushroom and dry bush. Not sure if that's an issue on my part since this was my first time installing, but I did follow all the instructions so who knows? Second question: how will I know if you have updated? I have bookmarked this page and "subscribed to this post," but other than that will I be updated, for instance, via email if you update this pack?
Other than that I am very pleased... all I'd like to see is more detail with the animals and villagers. Thanks!
Thanks - glad you like my pack.
As stated in the original post, the pack is a work in progress; therefore, not everything is complete. I have done a large range of textures; however, they are not all done. Hope you understand, as these packs take a long time
As for the update bit - there's nothing you can really do but check the forum every week or so. I post update logs to this forum every time I update. I also put the new link in the original post.

Thank you for replying so quickly. Of course I understand that this is a work in progress and because so it will take time and many updates to complete-it would be silly to think otherwise. I had assumed that the latest update would be at the top of the thread where the original post would be, but wasn't sure. It's always good, in my opinion, to verify your thoughts for good measure. Thank you again for this beautiful pack and I'm very thankful that it worked out so well. The breaks I saw have actually been fixed, other than the brown mushrooms, which I assume is due to simple imcompletion but definately not a big deal. Everything is working out great This is really a beautiful pack and I can't wait to show off some snapshots I will definately keep checking in for updates!

Thanks again for the comment. Your love of the pack means a lot - it makes me ever so happy that other people appreciate my work.
I have my final exams for the year coming up in two weeks, so I will frequently update it after then. I'm busy studying at the moment so I can't add a whole lot of stuff, but keep on the look out for future updates.

Well good luck on your exams, although if you are as dedicated to your academics as you are desgning, then you probably don't need that luck

This texture pack is incredible. I've only used a few texture packs, mostly well known ones, but this is my favorite. Definately better than LB Photo. Please continue work, You're doing a rather impressive job.
I haven't really seen any unfinished major terrain in the 'natural' overworld, so good effort with that. I did notice the weapons aren't finished. That said, vines, melons, pumpkins, reeds, and wheat should be next. The pack is really engrossing exploring around, and has real atmosphere, but I feel a little bit of me die inside every time i look at my large farms of default textures. Then, once you've eliminated that, get the tools finished.
Again, absolutely great work, and if you've made these from scratch rather than online resources I'd be even more impressed. You have my complete support.

Wow, thank you so much for your comment! I am always happy in the fact that people such as yourself enjoy my work. It's what inspires me to continue this
Hopefully, plants and related textures (in particular, crops) will be made soon. I have sort-of delayed making the crops to decide the best way to make them. I have a fairly good idea, though, so look out for future updates. I'm guessing that such an update will come out soon - I have exams this whole week so I can't really focus on making them too much.
How... In ANY way could this be mistaken for a marketing campaign? Wait, maybe if you thought Minecraft was a small buisness and this is a small marketing campaign for shares of the company xD
Hello First of all, happy autumn. I don't know where you live but I'm from the south so this is considered practically a holiday to us hahaha... secondly, I was wondering if you could provide an update for the 64 bit version of this texture pack, whenever you have the opportunity.
The reason I'm asking is that recently when I use any texture pack with Minecraft, which is updated as it should be, there's a glitch in the dirt blocks where peices from other blocks are replaced in the sides of the dirt blocks. I went on minecraft.net to ask for help there, and they told me to "update the texture packs." So here I am. Whenever you can that would be great, no rush
Thank you!

Hey!
I live in Australia, so it's spring, nearing summer.
As for the 64x version - I completely forgot about updating it for some reason. Just slipped my mind, I guess. I'll get to it when I can. It's just because some of the new items will probably be invisible.
As for your dirt block problem, it's sort of hard to understand what's going on. If it happens to every texture pack it's something wrong on your end; did you use the Minecraft HD patcher? You need to use that for the texture packs to work properly. If you send in a screenshot, I might be able to identify the problem.
Thanks - glad you like my pack.

Once again, thank you for your kind words.
Yep, I'm getting back on it. I've completed all my exams and will resume texture creation soon.
I'm working on it now, actually. I can't put a date on it but hopefully it'll be soon.
Thanks a bunch.
Ok . . . in what way?

I'm your eyes when you must steal
I'm your pain when you can't feel
Sad but true
I'm your dream, mind astray
I'm your eyes while you're away
I'm your pain while you repay
You know it's sad but true
