this texture pack was made to put a simple but different look on minecraft by the request of my friend gregmat4.
i know that this txture pack isn't the best, and that you have the right to state your thoughts, BUT you could be nicer to me. making a texture pack is hard and time wasting, so i ask you please tell me how i can improve and i will.

quite frankly I don't give a damn, and neither does anyone else
personally I prefer criticism to positivity, think about it, someone could give great advice on how to improve. plus criticising doesn't make us jerks, everyone has a right to state their thoughts and opinions on someone else's work. I would suck it up and take that the fact some people will hate your pack

actually I would say there complaining about the fact your pack looks like a bucket fill, which has been done so many times
you could improve by having an art style that fits you, not a simple pack, something detailed
you may be someone that makes realistic looking, stuff or PRG, or maybe steampunk or post-apocolypitc or anime? or maybe you would prefer the idea of NES/SNES or cartoony
its up to you, produce something unique, and in a art-style that suits you
i like apocalypse stuff so thats what im gonna do (as a 2nd pack)

Nope, still better. Look at Leocraft, oCd, Blizzard's 4x4. Those are fine examples of simple packs that have had days of work put into them.
WHAT!? YOU DONT THINK IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIGURE THIS OUT ON MY OWN!? i put all my time for about 2 weeks working on this trying to figure out the crap in it!
Slydude, what you have made is something called a "Simple pack" the majority of the forums hate these kind of packs (including me). Why? Because they're unoriginal, they take no effort, quick to make (Although, I have no idea what you've been doing for 2 weeks), all too common, and just plain ass ugly. There is no point putting up a fight. Just buckle down and get to grips with whatever editing software you're using, and learn to add detail, shading, and all that jazzy stuff. Then you will be accepted kindly into the forums.
it would also help if you guys help me by telling me how to improve this, not just telling me it looks like crap

Calling something 'simple' is no excuse to release a flat-colored half-arsed texture pack.
...But that's just my opinion.
