Give the world a nice, old style feel to it, and improve your performance! No Idea why it does that!
According to a few friends of mine, testers, they say the pack improves their computer's performance with the game by a little (No exact measurements taken yet though )
Taking out color doesn't improve performance. If there are less pixels, it would.(Meaning 8x8 instead of default 16x16)
Also, already done, and extremely easy. I could make this in less time than I took to type this.(Which was about 1 minute.)

Can you explain? What I got was that making the pack grayscaled has already been done?
And if you can make it, could you explain just how; MCPatcher, as suggested by Scaro isn't helping me out at all

You noticed I said it was incomplete, right?
1. Leaves, and all other foliage stay the same, colored, in the inventory.
2. Spruce, and Birch leaves stay colored ingame.
3. Clock textures don't change for some reason, and the magnetic needle in Compasses haven't changed either.
4. Mob-spawning eggs stay the same
5. Sunrise/set Moonrise/set remain the same
6. Water colors stay exactly the same...
Small project, I know, but if anyone can help, I would be very appreciative.

Hint: Work with the custom colors mod included in mcpatcher. It works wonders. Also Screenshots, or no downloads.

Anyway, this isn't so great. I mean, you didn't even take the effort to make everything black and white with custom colors
