This texture pack takes the original Minecraft textures and enhances them with a more polished feel, while still being a 16x16 texture pack. It is meant for players who want their Minecraft to look slightly different while still being faithful to Minecraft's orginal look and feel.
No offense, but It looks as if you just changed the brightness of most of the blocks, and simplified other things. And the humor isn't that humorous by the way...
Also, the snow and sand have patterns. When making a texture pack, you want to try to make nothing very visual, and just have things blend in with each other.

Yes, I did just make the textures brighter, but this pack wasn't meant to be an overhaul or anything. As I said in the first post, this pack is meant for the few people (like me) who enjoy the original look of Minecraft but want it enhanced a bit.
And Argran, you do have a point about the snow and sand not blending well, I may fix this in the future. Thanks for the feedback.

Then it would be a good idea to check the first page of the section and ask yourself - Does this forum really need another minor default edit?
Honestly...I think these textures look even worse than the originals. The grass is too smooth, for one thing, and the tiling (sand, bark, snow) could use some revision.

The screenshots were taken with the Better Grass mod, I should probably clear that up in the post.

But the side grass is still a full block.
I especially like how the ores look. Awesome job.
