Hello! I've been a Minecraft player for quite a long time, and have been using a variety of texture packs for just as long. Finally, bored out of my mind one long weekend, I decided to make my own. Hence, Simple RPG was born. It is essentially a simple pack, as it incorporates a limited number of colours and simple designs. However, this has indeed taken me time, and isn't just a bucket-fill mess or a recoloured default.
Not all blocks are yet finished; I estimate that I'm about 75% done all naturally occuring blocks. Despite this I decided to release a download, in the hopes of getting feedback from someone other than myself and my easily-pleased boyfriend. So please give it a download, and tell me what you think. =) All criticism will be taken into account, though it may not be acted upon immediately.
All contents of this pack, other than the default textures, are entirely my own. You are free to use this pack as well as redistribute it, so long as I am given credit.
-Iron ore needs shading
-Leaves don't really fit with the rest (Though they look ok)
-Mycellium is... bad
-The logs need to be redone, they don't look very well
Judging by the terrain.png, everything else looks decent.

Thanks for the input. =) I'll probably start changing textures once I have all of the terrain.png complete, just so I can get rid of most of the default stuff. I know my logs kinda suck. They're the texture I'm the worst at doing; I can never make them look decent.
Hmm...not bad! Interesting leaf designs, and I like the doors. But it's not at all 'RPG'. I'd say it's more 'simple stylized' than 'simple RPG'.
Darn. xD I guess my boyfriend and I are hallucinating or something. We agreed that it felt like something out of an old Final Fantasy or Legend of Zelda game. Oh well. I'm keeping the name; it'll probably morph into something more rpg-esque later.
Hey guys, an update! I've got a surprising amount of time on my hands this week. xD There's now obsidian and related items, as well as new logs, some shaded iron ore and other various blocks. Feel free to check them out. =D
Reminds me of Zelda, and I think the iron ore needs to stand out more.
-grin- Glad someone agrees that it looks like something from an old Zelda game. And I probably will make the iron ore stand out more eventually, but for now I think it's visible enough that people can see that it's there. So it's staying the same for a bit.

I have to agree with Balduran, the leaves don't seem to fit with the theme of the pack(but it's great and elaborate for 16x), and the mycelium appears as stringy. The iron ore and logs look fine to me, though. Great work!

Thanks! =D I'm going to redo the mycelium once I finish the terrain.png; it's starting to annoy me as well. And on a side note: Wow. I've already got over 50 downloads!
