Hi, I'm here to show you my simple pack that modifies some of the original Minecraft textures. It is very simple, yet nice simple changes. I hope you like them, and leave any feedback you want (especially on weapons) saying how you would like me to change one of my alterations or tell me what you would like to see as a completely new alteration yourself.
Improvements:
Tools
New Wooden Sword
New Stone Sword
New Iron Sword
New Diamond Sword
New Gold Sword
--How To Install--
1. Open Minecraft.
2. On the main menu click "Texture Packs".
3. Click "Open Texture Pack Folder".
4. Drag the ZIP file of the pack in the folder that opened.
5. Select it and enjoy.
The swords are still NOT and enhancement from default, and the colors are way too saturated. They are also flat shaded, and don't fit the "default" style you are trying to go for. The only change I see to the dirt is the removal of the grey pixels, which is such a minor change that this shouldn't be called a Texture Pack.
Practice more and you should be able to get good at pixel art. Don't give up!
Ugh, it's you again.
Swords:
-They look... fat. The blades are too thick
-Why is the cutting edge black? You only should use complete black when you know what you're doing
-They have little to no shading
-Those black burns on the wooden sword look like it's about to break in one hit
Terrain:
-I can't see any difference between the dirt and vanilla. Default edits only have a right to exist if they're actually original or have major changes.
-Since you already cleaned the glass, why not go all the way instead of leaving 2 lines?
-The glass border needs to be shaded
If you want to have an outline on your items, either surround the item entirely or not at all, anything in between looks inconsistent.
I assumed you took my advice and here you are again, I agree with balduran that you should fully clean the glass and the glass border needs to be shaded,
I hope you make some major edits or make something completely original. Plus I like the new swords (apart from wood, it's that random flat edge)
I'll look into the wooden sword. I was thinking about changing that in the next update to it.

Yep. It is clear I really REALLY need to have some lessons on how to properly shade an object. I'm terrible at it xD
3rd row from the bottom and 5th from the right, you forgot a grey pixel in the dirt and grass textures. Also, rethink the side-outlines of the swords, also consider making the broken parts of the wooden sword a dark-brown, and the glass needs shading on the sides.

Sorry for lack of updates. Yes, I know it shouldn't take so long to update something so simple. But I've been rather busy lately and would rather take a bit of time to get it right rather than constantly updating until I get it right.

...But that's just my opinion.
