here is a texture pack i made its 16x just to let you know this was my first go at a texture pack and not very much is finished so i hope you like it. pics:

Well... It's a start. The grass and ores need shadows. If you're making a stone texture, make sure you put it under the ores as well. I'm curious where this'll go from here.

thanks for the suggestions balduran i added shadows to side grass and ores like you suggested but i dont know how im going to make the stone look like yet

Isn't stone there under the leaves? at any rate, it's probably a good idea to start with the stone before doing the ores

under the leaves is mycelum and im working on the stone

New stuff:
The redstone still needs shadows and mycellium, the diamond block needs some details. The stone looks ok, could you post a screenshot of it in context? (By which i mean either go into a cave, or place more of it so that we can see if it tiles properly). The lava is ok-ish, 100% black rarely works well with colors, try adding some detail/shading to the black spots. The wool also desperately needs details inside that outline.

Aaaah, there, it looks great, but you missed a tiling error. near the bottom of the texture. Just make that tiny cross brighter and it'll be fine.
I also noticed that the diamond ore lacks shadows. I'm affraid you'll also have to redo the cobblestone, since it does not tile at all. Not sure if this is obvious to you, but always check your textures ingame before posting.
