This is my first texture pack, a foray into the world of pixel art. My original concept for this pack was textures all based off of the colour beige; however, I didn't know what to do when I got to the cactus. So I decided to do away with that idea, and go back to just making textures.
And one more thing...
You can download it.
One thing; You need MCPatcher. Just because - I will hopefully add CTM textures.

v0.1.2
v0.1.3
Thanks for everyone's support helping me with this texture pack! But I'm not done yet; the items are just around the corner, as is all the **** ton of other resources necessary to change minecraft into my eyeballs are melting so many things to do...
Anyway,
Give me feedback!
Please leave constructive crit. and feedback; I worked hard on this, took me almost a year to get through the terrain and items, especially with all the updates!
Love the leaves, like the grass, the stones alright (it does tile poorly-fix), cobble needs work.
Well there you go!
Also adjust your dirt color to be less green and more purple and your cobble's color
doesn't match your stone's color, if you intended them to.
None the less nice work Teknician! Update soon
Thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated. Although still stuck on the cobblestone, I've edited the dirt ever so slightly and heavily edited the stone; I've also added ores and (oak) wooden planks!
Updated to v.0.1.2! still a while yet to go before release, but we're getting there...
Great work, but there's no way that this is your first pack, it's impossible to make something this good on your first try.
Its true I've been working on it for the past six months, but this is actually my first texture pack. I've tried to make textures before for different texture packs, but to no real avail, and they weren't anywhere near the level of detail etc. that I wanted. I can see where your skepticism comes from, though: I keep looking at dustshouri and doku's work and thinking "how the hell...?"
I'm having a quick break for the weekend, and I'll get out un update on Sunday. I'm aiming to release the different plank types as well as bedrock, the workbench, the furnace, and maybe the other types of log and foliage.
I'm jelly of your skills right now; I definitely like the new cobblestone texture and most other stuff, but:
-The gold should be more... Golden. The color makes it look like iron right now.
-All of your ores could use with a shadow outline to give the feeling that they're embeded into the rock
-Not liking the logs. The ones to the right (jungle logs?) look like tire tracks, the birch is ok, the others just don't feel right to me (Can't word it right, sorry)

As I see it, the ores are embedded enough as it is. If you look at real ores, you can hardly see the mineral, and it looks like glinty stone. But this is minecraft, so it doesn't need that realism.
As for the logs, I may consider changing them.
Sorry for not updating lately. I've been preoccupied with health issues lately.

'Quaint': adjective:
Attractively unusual or old-fashioned.
Your textures are amazing especially for a beginner!
A new word to call myself.

My wip 32x texture pack.
Well, anyway...
Was working on the cobblestone texture! It tiles now.
Though the Redstone ore looks a bit strange...maybe it's just me.
I may consider changing it... it is a bit chunky.
EDIT:

...But that's just my opinion.
My DeviantART, requests welcome.
