Inspired (possibly heavily; debatable) by Leostereo's Tiny Pixel pack, I have come forth to show everyone a simple, cartoony and bright texture pack. I call it:
Sirty's Squares
Disclaimer:
Leostereo has given me permission to make this pack, and even though I consider it to be a unique pack (so I don't have to get his permission), it does have plenty of similarities to his texture pack (so I asked anyways just in case ).
You are granted my permission to use this texture pack. You may remix it or use it in a map, but PLEASE ask for my permission first. I don't want to get legal on your face xD
If you do, please put a link somewhere in the OP to my pack.
This Texture Pack does NOT need MCPatcher/OptiFine. The textures are still 16x16 but they are meant to LOOK like an 8x8 pack.
Installation Instructions:
1. Go to one of the download links and download it. When it prompts you to choose between opening the ZIP or saving it, save it.
2. Press the Start menu and type in "run", then hit Enter. Type in "%appdata%" in the Run program and click on the ".minecraft" folder.
3. Click on the "texturepacks" folder and click-drag-drop the ZIP file (the ACTUAL ZIP file, not its contents) into the folder.
4. Launch Minecraft, go to Options -> Texture Packs and select the Sirty's Squares option.
5. Play and enjoy!
Everything in Minecraft using my Texture Pack!
Beach and Tundra!
Underground in a Ravine!
A hillside next to a Forest!
A dangerous Facility in the middle of a Desert!
A broken down wall with the tower still intact!
My Texture Pack supports the Connected Textures Mod!
I consider this Texture Pack to be complete. I will NOT be doing items (unless I really get a burst of 8-bit enthusiasm), but I may be doing more mod compatibility in the future, such as BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft2, etc.
Finally, if pictures aren't showing or a download/texture is broken please let me know!.
Enjoy! Also, if you like it, hit the green (+) in the bottom-right of the OP.
Thanks for all of the support guys! Suggest a mod to me and I will see if I can work on textures for it! But for now I will have to work on the Nether Portal and such.
