Hi! The search on this forum doesnt want to do its job for me, so I probably ask the old question. R3D Craft Smooth Realism x256 and x512 doesnt work - when I add this from available resource packs, nothing happens - R3D Craft is added but the game uses default textures without any changes even old blocks (like stone, earth, wood) have default look. I have Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge 10.13.0,1186, Optifine 1.7.10 HD A4 and SEUS. All is properly installed. For example LB Photo Realism x512 works fine (but actually I don't like it). Could anyone explain what the problem is and what can I do. Thanks)
I'm having the same problem with all packs - from 32 to 512. I'm also running Forge (10.13.0.8.1208) with Optifine, SEUS, and GLSL, and when adding the packs it just loads in default - I don't even get that logo change at the main menu.. QnQ
EDIT:
Just tried the ones not listed for SEUS support and it seems to work okay - though there are some tears around blocks while moving - but I'm still not sure why the others aren't working, though.. =P
I really enjoy the detail that you put into this texture pack! However, I still don't feel that I'll use it for a couple of reasons.
I'm assuming this texture pack was meant as an ultra HD texture pack for MC, retaining a similar design. However, I feel like some things stray from that.
For one, the items, text, and bars feel a bit too cartoony. It doesn't fit with the blocks, that are mostly similar but just more pixels put on it.
The second thing is I feel it should stay true to the original textures a bit more. The grass looked great when I first saw it, because it was familiar but more immersing to look at. It doesn't feel the same with the recent update as it removes that similarity to the original texture.
I'm not completely sure weather you're going for complete realism or just an ultra HD version of the original textures, but I would like it to stay true to the original textures.
At this point everyone, I would give up on this pack being updated at all. UniblueMedia is very busy and he doesn't have enough time.
Uniblue, if you read this, could you possibly pass this pack on to someone else? Someone who can update it regularly and complete it? Even if their work on this resource pack is just temporary, I would appreciate these beautiful textures getting finished while you are busy.
Got some weird texture glitches, here are two items, but more items has strange texture glitches like these two, i dont know what to do about it
That's actually transparent pixels on the items. Minecraft 1.8 dropped support for transparent pixels on items for some reason. You're either going to have to erase the pixels in Gimp or something, or just wait for an update for the pack.
A quick question: Does R3DCraft has a similar texture pack mod support for "ProjectRed" or "BiblioCraft" or "Biome O plenty"? I would wait to hear an answer from anyone.
Is the default realism still being worked on? I really don't know
If I'm not mistaken, UniBlue Media himself said that he wants to work on SR (smooth realism) to improve his skills in making textures, he may return to DR (default realism) in the future, but until then all we can do is wait.
Progress is really slow btw, I mean REALLY slow, but lets not push the creator and let him do it at his own pace.
P.S.: I hope expecially in a fix for the tall grass that looks so bad into the great other textures!

Patch your game or use OptiFine silly!
