Developers, please help me! I love your textures! Here's the problem: when I use textures without McPatcher and Optifine, the game starts, but very lag. When I put optifine (also tried it with mcpatcher) the game does not start - black screen. META-INF folder, I deleted! When I chose the regular textures and opened minecraft - everything is fine. Once selected R3D - wrote to me was destroyed minecraft.

Minecraft crashes when the texture is applied...
- Make sure you have choose a suitable version of R3D.CRAFT for your computer. It all depends on how powerful your computer is. 128x128 is the most popular choice and most computers can run this. If you're using a cheaper laptop, choose between 32x32, 64x64 or maybe 128x128. If you are using a decent gaming computer, choose between 128x128 or 256x256. If you want a real challenge, choose 512x512!
When r3dcraft for feed the beast? 1 perfect texture pack and best mod pack
There's a list on the first page of this thread. Each mod planned to be made, will be made in that order, but after R3D.CRAFT is completely finished. Therefore, I cannot give you a ETA on when FTB will be made and published. It's too much to do between that.
Thats not joke, i have Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 OC and 512x512 it's good, but 1024x1024 should be better
Even if your computer can handle it, its pointless.
Since (most of the time) a block face will not cover a 512x512 area on your monitor, let alone a 1024x1024 area, having that resolution is pointless. The only way you will see an improvement is if you have the game view set up so that any blocks take up more space than 512x512 px. Even with an HD monitor, this is basically only achievable if you are standing right in front of a wall. This is why many people don't see much improvement going from 256 to 512, as most blocks in view will typically be fairly small in terms of resolution.
That is a problem with how he has sandstone named wrong in the texture pack easy fix really.
I didn't know that. I'll make sure that'll be fixed in the upcoming update. Some of the textures have had a slightly name change after the 1.5 update, which is somewhat irritating.
What exactly are the differences between smooth and default? I hate to ask such a dumb and obvious question, but I didn't see a comparison in the original post, and I don't know how to search individual threads for keywords.

The smooth version isn't even out yet, but I've already put out a quick preview picture on R3D's facebook page: click here for preview.
There's a brief explanation on the front of this thread about this Smooth version.
That's a joke right.
why...?
Even if he did add an "old versions" section, there still wouldn't be a 1.4.7 version. He never made one on the first place
No, I will try that and report back.
(Sorry for late reply)
Report:
No, just using it with Optifine Ultra B2 still gives SD textures, this time I do have a screenshot. Comparing HD water and SD lava:
Lava hasn't been made yet, mate. It should be default.

I'm afraid it's not, since that version do not exist. I never made a version for 1.4.7. Also, this doesn't even include FTB support :S
