Problems aside, I tried the 128 pack and it looks amazing, I think I'll be using that for a while. Going to try 256, but I'll probably be sticking with 128. It looks nice, and I only drop about 20 FPS, where I can live with 120 FPS.
I'm glad it worked out for you. Enjoy the texture!
Like someone else mentioned, the glass is very hard to see with connected textures. Maybe you could make it tinted a little? So you can just barely see it, but no obnoxious obstructions? I like my connected textures
Try out the "better glass" patch in MCPatcher. I've already made a slightly tint for the glass, but you won't see it without MCPatcher. Vanilla Minecraft's glass doesn't support transparent color information.
May look into it later, hopefully MCPatcher and Optifine will both run, I like optifine zoom and Far+ RD. I just briefly tired it and it kept saying modded jar, even though it wasn't. Probably because I'm using MultiMC.
I've been told it works, but you have to do it in a bit tricky way, I guess.
I use nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti and it works... How much RAM does your computer have Uniblue? Is 8 GB RAM enough?
Thanks
I have fully 32 GB RAM available on my computer, but that's mostly because I'm editing a lot, and image/video editing softwares or 3D softwares works more efficiently with more RAM allocated. I allocate 8 GB to my Minecraft, but Minecraft never uses anything near that. 4 GB is more than enough. You could probably also just allocate 2 GB of RAM and never experience your Minecraft client begging for more.
Looks really good. I downloaded the 128 pack and it seems to eat more fps then sphax 128 which is kinda sad
I get about 45 fps so its still fine but it is noticable. I am playing with Optifine ultra and most things on fast.
Also, are you actually working on a FTB patch or did you just list it for the future?
I listed FTB for the future. It's my least prioritized planned texture-support at the moment, which is why it's so far down the list. There's a lot of textures, I've heard.
EDIT: The reason for why R3D.CRAFT requires more computer muscle to handle is because in contrast to Sphax's texture, R3D.CRAFT includes way more variate color information (each pixel include one color), which makes the files bigger, while Sphax can compress his textures down to a smaller size without lack in quality.
Thank you, but I actually know about this site already. I've even talked to the owner of 9Minecraft, and everything is fine. I told him that he was allowed to continue publishing R3D.CRAFT, as long as he uses the official adf.ly links, and not shorten the links down to it's root, like he used to do. He responded professionally and did as I requested. No harm.
Thanks a lot for this texture pack, I really like it. I have just one question, do you have any ETA on the Redstone Block? Been wanting to use it but since I don't know how it'll look I've been waiting Cheers
Not really, no. I haven't received so much requests about that texture. I probably need to really focus on the redstone textures one time.
Again, no, there's not really an ETA on the redstone block.

But water and lava textures are still SD for me. I'm pretty sure you have already done those HD textures because I've seen it before.
Using Forge, Optifine, 128x 1.5.1 Redcraft, InvTweaks and Matmos.
Any help?

Have you tried to play with only Optifine? Just to check out that your mods is not conflicting with anything.

Curse PremiumNice spotlight. Thanks for sharing it!
One question. It seems like you are using an older version, but you uploaded this yesterday (31. of March). Why are you not using the newest version?
What kind of graphics card is needed to run 512x512?

Curse PremiumI'm not sure, but I could run it with my old "GTX Geforce 560Ti 2 GB" and I run it better now, with my "ASUS Geforce 670 2 GB".
Also, I believe Minecraft relies more on your CPU and RAM, than your graphic card, but I'm not sure.
Thanks
Wow I actually downloaded before your last update and had not checked the thread recently. I may make another displaying the changes at some point
And I use a Nvidia 635m and have no issues with this.

Curse PremiumYes, it will, actually. Such options that can improve your in-game texture experience is something I would like to feature.

Curse PremiumTextures that aren't matching? What do you mean?
