What you seem to fail to realize is that Version 1.4.2, 1.4.4, and 1.4.5 all use the same textures; there is no need to update. What also seems to elude you is the fact that there are almost 700 texture images to be edited (this number does not count each bitmap separately rather it includes individual blocks/items/gui elements; but it is still a considerable amount). Uniblue has to juggle this pack, other projects, social life, any work/school he may be involved with, personal time, sleep, and anything else he might do.
In response to your claim of his "abandoning" the pack? He's made 6 posts on the last three pages alone, and one of them was a preview of what was to come in a future update! The part that astonishes (and slightly amuses) me about your latest posts is that you are not only complaining about the rate at which a free service is being produced, but you are accusing Uniblue of abandoning a project which he has, still is, and will continue to put much time and effort into. If you do not see what is wrong with either of these things, you clearly need to work on several [very basic] social skills.
P.S; It Makes It A Lot Less Difficult To Take You Seriously If You Don't Capitalize Every Single Word In Your Post. One Of The Basic Rules Of English Grammar Is That You Only Capitalize Nouns (Specific Places, Specific Things, Specific Ideas), Names, And The Individual Letters Of Acronyms. This Rule Has Very Few Exceptions, So I Recommend You Use It As A Rule Of Thumb When Writing Anything In English.

I'll just tell you that you always have the option to abandon this texture. I'm not keeping you here.

I, and some others, would like you to teach by example, and try "posting nothing at all" so we can see how that works.
Oh, and mod suggestion following. It's not deadly-important, but if we have a shot, I'd like to see it done. It's also basically 4 terrain.pngs. It's the "Divine RPG" mod, found here. Definitely a challenge, and no rush, but yeah...
I gust want to till you...
you got the best texturepack ever in minecraft.
It must be the default texturepack for minecraft... when a saw it ( the pic,s ) i didint saw a better texturepack like this one so i download it...
when i use it it where better then the pic,s i saw ( because i download the 256x one ).
so good luck in your texturepack and i hop you do better next.
Do you ever go through the changelog in the minecraft launcher to check whats new?To UniblueMedia, am wondering when will u start on the Original pack?

When R3D.CRAFT is 100% done, which means that every texture is R3D.CRAFT. No default. Then I'll start categorizing so that I end up having one with smooth textures and one with original textures. I also have some plans for the terrain blocks for the smooth textures. I'll post that soon on facebook and add it to the info on the top of this thread.
EDIT: I've posted some more information about this now.
Thanks for The update!
The Best thing any Modder or Text Pack Developer
Can do is Not Constantly Create New Stuff but be
Consistent with the Product They Have,
There are alot of very young people who are not
Terribly Concerned about how much better One
Version is from the Next... But Rather, How Consistent
Is one Version from the Next.
And face it New Minecraft Players who have Used R3D
At least once... All they want to know is...Can I keep using
This Texture Pack... As Minecraft Updates Can I keep Using
R3D... That is Way More realistic than: Oh Gee I hope
This Version is better than the Last! Since I started using R3D Craft
It's Never been finished, And that did not stop me from downloading!
That!!!! Is why they say: Update Please...Instead of...I cant stand the look
Of the Grass Texture. I hope you have Learned Something from This!

You do know that there is absolutely no difference between this "updated" version and the one labelled as 1.4.2, right? If no new blocks and/or items are added, there is really no need to update

Hello guys and girls,
I just wanted to ask a question but it does not have any relation with the topic above.
Ok so the question is: What does r3d mean? Is it "red" or an abbreviation similar to t3c(tetrix's 3rd obstacle course(u should check it out by the way it is super fun))

I don't know if it actually means anything, but you say it as "red."
Here is the "About" section from the original post, with the part you're asking about bolded:
R3D.CRAFT, pronounced "Red Craft", is a high quality texture pack that can be applied to the game, Minecraft. Based on the default texture that belongs to this game, R3D.CRAFT tries to bring more realization, with high quality textures, smoother gradients and shadows, artificial lighting, small details or new details + so much more.
This texture is made for those who seek more quality in-game, but also want to keep the default design and feeling. Therefore, this texture tries to stay close to the original outlook, by matching the correct colors and shapes.

I've answered this before, but that's a long time ago, so I can do it again...
R3D.CRAFT fully stands for "Realistic 3-dimensional Craft", also pronounced "Red Craft". The purpose in the name lies in the concept of the whole texture pack: To make the default texture more realistic.

This seems odd to me. That should not happen :/
Do you use any mods that may conflict with the texture?

Curse PremiumYou know why... xD
Now I'm kinda expecting comments like: "The title says 1.4.5, but the download says 1.4.2! Where's the correct download!?!?"
EDIT: Fixed that. Kinda.
Martin1078, the texture pack is not broken. You need to install an HD texture fix such as Optifine or MCPatcher.
Read the instructions
