I've noticed 2 problems with the 1.4 version. The beacon block isn't the correct texture (as BeansAndPixels says) and also the Zombie textures are glitched
This is currently being taken care of. A new update will appear soon (today or tomorrow). Like R3D's fanpage on facebook for instant updates
Hi, I think there is a small problem with the beacon, I don't think it's meant to be like in my screenshot right? Everything else in my world seem to look ok, I'm not having any problems with the zombies.
Really loving all of the textures, keep up the good work.

the x256 version lags my computer to the point that it takes 2 seconds for something to happen while the x512 version works fine. Are there any fixes for this? I run nodus (optifine is included) for minecraft 1.4.2

I'm not sure what kind of "fixes" you are looking for. It seems odd to me that the 512x512 version runs better on your computer, than 256x256. Any tech-geniuses here who can help him?
There's no doubt that 512x512 requires more memory to run, so there's defiantly something weird going on in your Minecraft client or you computer.
and i think something is wrong for me...
Facts: using Optifine, 1.4, newest Update, 1024 Ram, Magic Launcher, Premium, ...
and yeahh you see...
it is like it's over powered...
and also your Zombie is only Green (without Face arms..)
[and a other TP maker had that problem two, cause he had two layer head, and if the put items on the crap off...]
but vilager zombies are fine
Hope somebody can tell me how to fix
For your zombie faceless problem, this has been a problem for all texture packs other than default as the zombie has changed a little in 1.4, thats pretty much what I skimmed off the forums. Or something like that. Zombies are messed up in other texture packs too. I think its the HD or something.

I dare you to move your cursor to the green box on the bottom left of these words, and give it a click. I would give you a diamond, but I've lost it.

No. Mojang changed the zombie texture file size because of the new villager zombies.

This has been taken care of now. I updated the texture yesterday. The zombie texture bug is gone.
first of all, I´ve got to say that your texture pack is awesome. It´s exactly what I was looking for (though I am really looking forward to see the original-like tools version).
Now why do I really write this post. On 1.3 I was playing with your TP 256x and SEUS. After the 1.4.2 release, I was forced to customize some things (terrain.png of yours and terrain_n.png and terrain_s.png included in some 64x adjustment I found + added lightmaps from original SEUS adjusted TP, so there is nothing I could take credits for). Even though I am really not skilled editor or something like that, I actually managed to get it working.
Now, in fact, I do not know if there is someone willing to use R3D craft 256x with SEUS on 1.4.2, though I was thinking what would you say about sharing this modified files with the comunity. I am not going to do it myself as none of the files are really mine, but I thought you could. It´s only 256x and really amateur work, but it could help some people, I guess.
Sincerely,
Fenek
Sure! That was nice of you
As long as we are allowed to publish what you have taken from SEUS, I have nothing against this.
I could easily place the download link under the main downloads, while crediting you for the changes (no ad-fly link). People would really appreciate an option like this.
Amazing texture pack. I love this because it stays with the original Minecraft feel, while trying to be as realistic as possible. Brick looks like real bricks, wood looks like real wood.
UniblueMedia you are a god of Minecraft, the wood is beutiful on the 256 and are most of the other textures.
the only issue I have is the strain on the eyes, when I install the texturepack my eye feels strained but when I take it off my eyes relax. Is this normal?
but how to get the regular pickaxe like in vanillahd ? i dont want the round one please can someone tell me how ?
1. Open the downloaded texturepack. It's a zip file so you need Winrar to do so.
2. Go to the "gui" folder.
3. Locate an image that's named "items" and delete it.
4. Close the zip file and there you go.

Curse PremiumYou need to patch your Minecraft up with either MCPatcher or Optifine to run HD textures properly.

The repeater and hopefully, the redstone wire, will be updated in the next update.
The painting with the creeper will be made when I have finished the creeper (I'm not happy with it's appearance).
