By golly I love this pack so much Im glad i got my new computer so i can run 512x at an amazing 165+fps

Can't you see what I'm doing here? If these are not similar at all, then this "making the default more realistic" is impossible.
I'm just starting to get annoyed by some many, stating that these tools are ugly, not similar or not good. This is hours of work and I'm really impressed by my own work so far.
I think those people don't understand what you are trying to do here or they take on default realism is different. If that's the case, just turn the cheek the other way and continue with what you are doing
Just downloaded this mod, and I have to say it's AWESOME. But for some reason whenever I want to play MC with the 512 version, I have to switch to default, then run MC through MC Patcher, THEN switch to the texture. Odd, but I don't care that much becuase this texture pack is awesome!

And if you DO decide to do one for Battlegear, why not have it as an advanced version of this texture pack made by the author of Battlegear and made specifically for it: http://www.minecraft.../#Texture Packs

Looks like an awesome mod. Sadly, MinecraftForum doesn't allow me to add more mods to the poll. I'll gather the most requested mods soon and make a TO-DO list. Then I'll start a new poll

I tried to download the new texturepack some days ago and catched a terrible computer virus. In German it is called "GVU-Virus". It's a maleware which tries to blackmail you while it codes your files. I needed three days to localise and delete it. It happend while I downloaded the file (may get it over the advertising of adf.ly or mediafire but I'm not sure).
Just want to say that you may pay a little attention. Some anti virus software don't notice it.
Don't blame adfly. I've never gotten a virus from downloading this pack. And i've downloaded it at least 10 times (checking different versions/resolutions) and, well. Yep. You're computer is obviously dumb.

For the last time. Ad-fly is a serious company, and I really doubt they allow any sort of ads that contains viruses. That basically means they can get in a lot of trouble if they didn't give a care.
I have never had any problems with downloading my own texture, downloading others texture or anything else including Ad-fly. Nor do my friends and other contacts either.
This is my only way for earning any revenue of this texture, and I won't give it up if some people claims it gives them viruses. You wont get viruses if you have a protection software, and there's free ones available. If you are using internet, which you obviously do in this case, then I strongly recommend you to get a protection software.
I know there have been ideas about making an additional download link or a "direct download link", that most people call it, but this will basically mean that most people would rather use that link, which again leads to no revenue.
I have said that money isn't my goal for this texture, and it still isn't, but seeing that I can earn some extra revenue, without causing you to do anything else than wait 5 seconds, then why shouldn't I? We all need to buy stuff. Especially us young people.
This means that no, there won't be a direct link available in the nearest future.

There will be additional servers to download this texture from, in addition to Mediafire, since some people claim that they have problems with downloading.
Can you please do it 16x16? will be awesome to have the default in hd 16x16!

R3D.CRAFT in 16x16 would basically be almost identical to the default texture. This will also kill the point about R3D.CRAFT, which is to bring more quality to the game, which won't happen if I stay in the same resolution as the default texture.
I've selected the five most voted mods on my poll, to one list, which is displayed right below the mod-texture-support download panel. This means that these mods has been removed from the poll.
The mods that has been selected will be done in that displayed order, AFTER R3D.CRAFT is 100% done. Connected textures, which is the first one, will be done right away and will be available in the 100% version of R3D. Random mobs, which is the second one, will take more time, though. The rest will pretty much take some time to finish.
Please give me a heads up if you want other mods to the poll as well, since I got available space now.
