Very true :-) I'm probably noticing it more as I'm currently stuck in a ravine with a skelly XP farm - so spending a lot of time with lots of vines that are everywhere!
I'm having a problem downloading the updated pack. Whenever I click to download it, the adf.ly page comes up but at the top, the timer doesn't show up to actually download the pack. I really love this pack and I want the updated version but I can't get it. I don't know why it's not working for me.
I love the texture pack. I am still using it in my Let's Play. I just wanted to comment on the cows. I think you nailed the brown it looks so good. On the white I think it looks to dirty. I think it would look better if you lightened it up a bit to define the white spots a little more.
Great work.

I see. I might look into that later. Thanks for feedback and for using this texture. Awesome "Let's Play"
I love the pack. I'm one to keep things simple and how they were originally designed, yet nicely done at the same time. This is the perfect cross between a texture pack that completely alters the game's look and the default look of Minecraft. Great job, keep up the good work!
I did not use any texture pack becorse i dont like that it changes the game looks totaly even if they are HD.
But this doesnt change it completely so i like it.
This is the best texture pack EVaaaaaahhhhhh
Been using it since 75% (i think)
And never seen a better texture
Its, really great that you can choose from 32x and up to 512x
Most texture packs dont have that much possibilities just, 64x or 32x or some have 128x...
any ways..... I wish i could support you more than just posting here
And i just cant wait for 100%, just CANT.
Btw, 512x FTW :D,
Too bad i run on 30-60 fps spikes on it D:
Well, 256x is good 'nuff
I really like this texture pack. I am currently using the 256x one but can't use the 512x, minecraft keeps running out of memory. I tried allocating more memory but still doesn't work. Specs; i7 4.1ghz, gtx 580, and 8gb of ram. Any helpful tips to get the 512x to work?
Best texture pack evah!!
Just a question: Why did you add more texture to "stone, ore and other various block" ?
Can't wait for the 100% and the support for mods (Go Tropicraft!)
Because I felt they where to flat, and I wanted more details and variation. I will most likely do more small changes most of the blocks. Specially in the last 5 percents and after.
I won't make the official ctm.png image before I'm completely done. The reason behind this is because I'm not sure if I'm 100% done with all of the already re-made blocks (like glass and bookshelf). You will have to wait until this texture reaches 100%. Then there will be a ctm.png image.

I'm really not the best guy to answer this, but here's my specs. You can compare yours with these:

Me neither, but I just think my PC can't handle the chocolate sauce of 512x.

Um. Well. I have a crappy computer (not crappy, just not meant for gaming) and i can run the 512x pack but it's not playable. So i can go ingame with it and not have it crash. I just allocate 4 gb to java through the control panel. Google 'Allocting more memory to java' and there's a tutorial on the forums that will show you how to make java e=better to run minecraft. Helped me
if you say default in HD, it also looks like it (vines, egg, ghast tear, weapons, ... does not I think)
i would prefer something like this, because it looks in the inv like the default, but if you have it in your hand you realize, that is much detailed
hope you reply on this thanks
keep the work up!!!
I have no wishes for R3D.CRAFT look like this. This work right here would have taken me 30 minutes top. They almost look identical to the default. There's no extra feel of realism. Only a vague texture placed over.
I've stated plenty of times + I state the same at my front page:
"Future plans:
After tons of different feedback from you, users, on Facebook, I've decided that one version of R3D.CRAFT is not enough. Some want's smooth curved edges (especially on the tools), and some of you want the already square-shaped edges (like in the default texture). This is why I plan to make two versions of R3D.CRAFT. One called "R3D.CRAFT ORIGINAL" and one called "R3D.CRAFT SMOOTH"."
EDIT:
Also. My intentions for this texture was never to be as simple as the picture above. When I say "Default Realism" there is a line between "Default texture with more texture between the pixels" and "real realism". I believe the default texture misses more depth. Smoother gradients. More quality and high resolution textures. I want the whole block to change after certain specialties about that block. This is really hard for me to explain in simple lines.
This explains the vines and the weapons. They have the same color and follow the same pattern, but there body is changed. I've given them missing details, because I can do that when I work with 512x512.
I don't understand why you do not find similarities with the default tools and the R3D tools.
Can't you see what I'm doing here? If these are not similar at all, then this "making the default more realistic" is impossible.
I'm just starting to get annoyed by some many, stating that these tools are ugly, not similar or not good. This is hours of work and I'm really impressed by my own work so far.
ah yes, that might do it

Me 3.... my pc can't handle the awesomeness of 512x. Stuck with the 256x.
