Alright, luckily I have a vast amount of patience. This update better at least have many things updated, like the swords/pickaxes and things like that.
THIS is quite simply put 'amazing'. A very neat idea that was carried out superbly. I love it when graphical projects become as successful as this. You sir deserve a:
I absolutely love this texture pack! The only thing that's a bit of a downside, is that if you pick the 512x512, all seems a bit "grainy" when viewed from afar (A big patch of grass, for instance)
But the grain is greatly reduced when you use the 128x128 pack, so I'm not going to complain. The 3D effect is awesome, too.
I would like to see random mobs too though, even if it's an optional. I just love random mobs.
I did a bit of testing with this myself (With a simple colour shift for the creepers)

Yeah, this texture includes an outdated creative menu. The old one should be in this pack as well, named "OLDallitems" in the gui folder.

Try using the mipmaps feature with optfine if you use it, smooths out distant textures
