May sound silly, but in what order do you load the texture pack and the shader support? Also, the textures appear very very grainy when shaders are enabled. This seems like it may be a problem on my end, but I have a high end PC that can run shaders at ~60fps
Cheers.
I think I know what you are refering. The "grainy" effect with shaders enabled is made by the Ambient Occlusion map textures (the ones ended in _o). It's used to calculate the exposure of each pixel to the light sources. The Specular map (_s) is for the reflections, such as the rain ones. The Normal map (_n) is used for creating "3D" effects on the surface of an object.
If you guys want a not grainy shader support for R3D Craft Smooth Realism with bump mapping and parallax occlusion mapping for the moment, you can now download mine (unofficial support) here (or click on my banner) in 512x/256x/128x/64x resolution. Specular/PBR is still WIP. Enjoy R3D Craft

For future reference to you who read this: There is a link to his thread under "Community" on this thread.
Hi! Someone could help me, for some reason Smooth Realism is not working for me even in 256x i have 20fps, while with Default Realism 512x i get 200+ fps.
There are quite less blocks in Default Realism. Try installing Optifine and turn off terrain animation.
I have optifine and on extreme render distance and everything on maximum with Default Realism 512x i get 100fps+, but on lowest render distance everything on minimum with Smooth Realism 256x i get around 15-20fps. I allocated 12GB memory...
Ohh and with the latest version available at least loads up, with previous versions i got black and white blocks bug...
That did the trick, but what the f**k is this terrain animation? It just killed my PC...
Also Shader support looks to be broken for me, everything get white sparks...
Don't know, but it kills my frames as well.
The sparks you are referring to are most likely my attempt on Specular maps. It's not completed and a bad piece of work, to be honest. Turn of specular maps in the shader settings to get rid of those.
You can also check out a fanmade shader support pack in the community section of this thread. That looks a lot better!

Terrain animation is the setting that controls animated textures specifically from blocks not including water, lava, or Nether portals. I personally didn't notice any FPS problems when using the pack, but I still wouldn't know why it might kill the FPS since there are no animated blocks in the pack that I've found.

Can someone send me the dam realistic version of R3D craft. I keep downloading the smooth version of it and I hate the way the cobblestone looks on the smooth version of R3D Craft. I just can't seem to find the Default Realism version with the clean interface.
I remember playing this on my potato when it first came out on being able to barely run 256x above 40 frames. Now i can run 512x and it looks beautiful glad to see you came back and still supporting it

I figured it out. I had to download both the smooth and default realism. Then I had to equip both of them in the resources pack to able to have the clean interface for the default realism.
For me it has some weird issues. I upload some pictures to see for yourself: the door and the rail looks strangely dark and it's glitchy. It looks like what's white looks like that... strange...
I guess that you use Continuum PBR 1.2.2 but what is your GPU ? I think this is a shader related problem and I can't do much about it. You have to know that Continuum PBR is still WIP and is more like a test for PBR. A new shader with a proper PBR support is in developement by the Continuum team. Use the Non-PBR Continuum if you want to play Minecraft with POM and without these glitches.
Did you fixed the problems I reported before? Or this is a totally different update? Also i have a Gtx 660ti 3GB MSI edition with custom bios and overclocked.
Try it and tell me how it looks, I think that your problem is fixed with this update
It looks much better but it's still buggy everything thats white or has metalic look. I can see throuth my hand the metalic stuff like iron door etc. Also the shadow is drawned strangely on these. Anyway keep up the great work!
These bugs are in Continuum PBR and I can't do anything about them. The Continuum team is working on a new shader with PBR, less bugs and better performances. Thank you !
Where is the download button?? I cant see it for me
