You can make it work by modifying the file pack.mcmeta in the root directory of the resource pack.
Open it with a text editor (for example notepad) and change the line
"pack_format": 1,
to
"pack_format": 2,
Now, the resource pack works again.
Tested and confirmed this does seem to work. At the very least, textures loaded for what I happened to have in my inventory and what was around me at the time of loading a save.

Crazy300Gamer, Nice enough textures m8 but your lava, cobblestone walls, wooden doors, iron doors, all trapdoors, and brewing stand have problems. other than that i like it.

I'm afraid that wont happen, the person who created this thread is the creator of the Resource Pack, the only place to find any links anywhere else but on this thread by the creator, so, please be patient like the rest of us.
