I have found that using this pack isn't good with 32 x 32 or 64 x 64. You can't really see the detail you have added.
If you compare what you see in-game, with the preview images I have displayed here on my threads, I understand. 32x32 pixels and 64x64 pixels is not a big enough resolution to give your Minecraft that quality you see in my preview images. I have used the optimal resolution, which is 512x512 pixels, to display this texture. As the resolutions go down (512x -> 256x -> 128x -> 64x -> 32x), the quality gets worse.
This is nothing I can fix. This is how image re-sizing works. If you want something closer to what I have displayed here, you'll have to download a higher resolution. If you want the same as I have displayed here, download 512x512.
There is a white line on the left of the ice block. http://i.imgur.com/l2Cqc.jpg
It was really annoying me when I was doing my last project so I fixed it on my terrain.png but you should fix it on the official pack.
Thanks!

Dude this texture pack is awesome, if i had money to give you i would. I'm definitely using this in my videos from now on and will definitely link to you. Keep up the great work on your videos and this pack.
i downloaded the 512x version but when i try to select it its says that minecraft has ran out of memory
It means your computer hasn't dedicated enough ram to Minecraft to run this texture. To say this easier: I think your computer isn't good enough for the 512x512 version. That version is pretty heavy to run. Most computers have difficulties with it.
UPDATE 3. JUNE 2012
So I guess some of you are expecting an update this weekend. Sadly, I have to report that there won't be any. My final exams are next week and I will be in a constant off-work-mode during the next following days, until Friday.
There's some left to do. I have to do all the mobs, all the items, and some terrain textures left + other remaining textures. I can't really estimate how long this will take, but I guess this won't be done before one or two months.
When all the remaining stuff is applied, I will go over every texture, finishing, re-detailing and changing after your suggestions and my own reflections of the pack. This is the final 5% of this texture. The final phase, as I like to call it. I'll release a 95% version before this stage.
Then, when I'm finally done with R3D.CRAFT and can finally tag it as "100% done", I'll officially release it. Hopefully, with more preview images and maybe a logo. I'll update all my threads and make them look nice, as well.
I'm still not done, even though R3D.CRAFT is 100% done. This might sound weird, but I know a lot of you request me to do mod-texture-support, which I will do. I will run a poll with 5 different mods that are most suggested by you, and you can vote for the one, you would like me to do first. Connected textures and random mobs, is probably something I'll do right away before the polls.
That's all for now. You just have to rub yourself with patience and wait. I'll stay active here (after my exams), and answer your questions/suggestions/feedback.
This is a pretty amazing pack, the screenshots look awesome, but the filesize is a problem for my internet. This needs its own special touch though, like not just overlays, but some blending would be nice to.
This texture pack is just amazing. I first tried the 64x64 one, had no lag or delay and it looks great. The dirt in my opinion looks amazing. I have one problem though, the 512x512 version is not working for me. It takes a while to load and then it just crashes,
Same here with the 512x version, I can use other 512x texture packs, but this one makes my MC run out of memory.. :l
I forgot to tell you, that the flame in the furnace looks quite too realistic
Can't you make it in the same style as the other things? (with pixels overlayed, you know what I mean
A lot of people have mentioned this, and as I've told them: Yes, I agree, and I will change this so it suits the concept ;D
No, that's is not how this texture is described. The default texture has no where close to how much detail you get in this texture. You'll get my point, by looking at the preview images.
When it comes to the noise, that's Minecraft's problem. Minecraft doesn't have a mip-map option (less details, the further away), so when you apply textures with more detail, there will also appear more noise further away.
There's a mod that have a option for mip-mapping. It's called Optifine. I strongly recommend you to get that mod.

I don't think you know how much time of work I've spent on every block. Some of the plane blocks (stone, grass for ex.) are, like you maybe described, just the same default blocks with several extra textures, overlayed.
Most of the other's have more work behind them. The cobblestone, the bookshelf or the enchantment table for example, have several new textures, + shadings and other changes. I think I've used over ca. 2-3 hours on making the crafting table/workbench.
If had just applied a random texture, this would have been done in a couple of days.
Glad you liked the pack! I'm sorry the file-size is big, but I can't do anything about that than decreasing the texture-quality, which I wont.

you need to add more memory to minecraft. look up on youtube how to add more memory to minecraft.
don't worry there's no rush. Take your time and good luck for the exams.
The mods I hope to see supported by your (awesome) texture pack are : buildcraft/industrialcraft/forestry/redpower. But I'll vote when needed
cheers !
This would be even more killer with mod textures, but even at 80% Vanilla textures redone it is still damned sexy. Hopefully Thaumcraft 2 as well as those:D
I stopped using Crafting Table III just so I could see that pretty workbench. First texpack ever to make me stop using a mod haha. CONGRATS and keep up the good work.

Curse PremiumThank you for telling me. I had no idea!
Nope. It's in the terrain.png. I've been able to fix it myself. If you want to take a look at it, it's in the 80% 128x.
Try to allow more memory to Java or just use the 256x version who looks awesome too
