Whats the status of completing the smooth realism for 7.10? I currently use this and podzol, tall grass(both pieces) ,fern/inc large, cactus, saplings, flowers most of: (yellow, red, all tulips, allium, azure bluet, sunflower, lilac, rose bush, peony), acacia wood/leaves, soul sand, endstone, wheat in hand, hay bales, fish, cake, rotten flesh, nether wart, all seeds, armours, horse skins, potato and carrot planted as well as item form.
there are a lot more but the most useful would be flowers, acacia stuff, farming and animal related stuff. please keep up the good work, I love this texture pack as it doesn't require wondering "whats this block supposed to be?" yet makes minecraft look so much better. (I use smooth 128px)
(edit typos)
Sorry.
After reading my post I sound like a whining "gimme", let me clarify:
I'd like to know if the 128px smooth realistic R3D.CRAFT pack is still under development or not, I don't want/need a date, just the knowledge it's unfinished is great reason for me to come back. Even just a recommendation for a more finished version would be good (if there is no plan to complete 128px smooth).
(edit2 clarifications)
BIG FAN!
Well, according to Uniblue media himself, his focus is on Smooth Realism because he can develop his skills and try out new ways to make textures (something like that) he might return to Default Realism after that.
What is that status of the Minecraft pre-1.8/1.8 release, as in support for armor stands, new doors, etc.?
Also, I have been relentlessly attempting to get R3D.CRAFT 512x Smooth Realism working on my machine (2.8GHz i7 iMac with 16Gb RAM) for some time now, to no avail! I can get 256x rolling, but when I attempt 512x, it looks like {ATTACHMENT #1}. It should also be noted that in order to get this running, I need to switch in-game to 512x from 256x, or any other resource pack. However, if I attempt to launch minecraft with the 512x selected, I get this error, relating to the jukebox?:

So, this is when I attempted to install MCPatcher. Of which is not available for OS X? So I installed what I downloaded as HDTextureFix but when run, is MCPatcher? There needs to be more clarity, unification, and integration of whatever these sketchy third party applications provide into minecraft itself, but I digress... Now, I have HDTextureFix/MCPatcher HD 1.8 Snapshot (.jar) running. But, it cannot locate the current latest version of minecraft in order to patch it. I am guessing this is because the 1.8 pre releases are using a different nomenclature on their .jar files. Anyway, I naturally went on to attempt to run/patch an earlier version (14w34d) in order to confirm this theory, and it detected the version file without a problem. All options are greyed out for some reason, but I clicked the Patch button anyway. It went through some sort of progress bar-process, and finished successfully. The patch report was blank, so I don't know if it really did anything. But, I went on to try and run 512x. I again got the jukebox error, so I removed the 512x from the resourcepack folder in lieu of the 256x, for the time being, in order to get minecraft to launch. Upon launch, I switched to 512x on the now "patched" minecraft .jar, and BOOM - got the same result as {ATTACHMENT #1}. Any insight to this issue would be appreciated, and thanks in advance! Do not hesitate to post requesting more information, if necessary to help diagnose this.
Lastly, I really do not understand what the SEUS/Sonic Ether Shader Support is, or what it does, or how to install it. I feel like this may be a dumb question, but when searching this thread for "shader" I found nobody had mentioned it. I would really like a clearer description of the necessity, usefulness, etc. of the shader support, as well as these patcher programs.

Try using OptiFine instead of MCPatcher. If you have Forge installed on your Minecraft instance, you just drop OptiFine into your mods folder
I know it it did, I had a hand in the removal. That is old news! Please look at dates....
Snitch.
At least you got Uniblue to comment on something. He's pretty quick to pop his head up when there's money at stake. Not so quick to actually do stuff with the money he takes from people, though.

I personally dont care what he comments on but the fact remained that post wasn't right and was happy to see it closed.
I bet if someone was blatantly stealing from you, you would hope someone would say something. This isn't the "mean streets" or a drug cartel hierarchy.
In these forums we try to respect others creations, seems you know nothing about that or you wouldn't have posted such an ignorant comment.
Just because someone doesn't always respond doesn't mean he shouldn't be informed
Greatest part about it is now that I'm set to ignore you, You no longer exist!

At least you got Uniblue to comment on something. He's pretty quick to pop his head up when there's money at stake. Not so quick to actually do stuff with the money he takes from people, though.
I "pop up" when there's a case I really should be involved in. You won't believe how many times people notified me (usually via e-mail) that someone have re-uploaded content I've made and declare themselves as "The Creator". I always respond to such messages. That's the least I can do, considering someone took their time to care for this project.
Regarding the actual case "someone took my content and re-uploaded it" I feel it's unnecessary to explain why this isn't a good act. You don't claim author rights and publishing rights something not belonging to you. It's utterly disrespectful.
Regarding the money I've somehow "stolen" from people... Well, this is a dreadful statement. All revenue earned through this project is earned through advertisements (Adf.ly), which has nothing to do with the anyone. It's money earned. It helps me pay for hosting big files and imagery, programs and other "smaller" expenses. If you are talking about donations, please know that this is money that's been only used on this project. Most of it has been saved, so that I can buy good programs I wish to use for further development. I've stated many times that I accept donations, but please know that this will only be used on this project and this alone, so that people can support it.
One last point regarding money; if you believe I'm earning well on this project, then you are horribly wrong. It's barely nothing. It was never, and never will be, my intentions for creating textures. I do it for progression and the sore fun of it. That's it.
I know you are upset about the speed of development regarding this project, but don't say ridiculous things on behalf of that. If you are not happy with what you see here, then I would suggest you to move on to something else.
What money? You mean the fraction of a penny that adf.ly gave him because you clicked on the link? That didn't cost you anything other than a few seconds of your time, so why does that matter to you? If you mean any donations he has received, all of it goes back into funding his work on this pack (mostly by buying better programs so that he can make the pack even better). Besides, he does this completely for free. It's not like you have to buy the texture pack to use it
The smooth realism is my favorite. It's so delicate and precise. I tried the bumpmapping with shaders and it looked amazing. If you want an idea of how it will look, look at the video below.
After three months of waiting for an update........ you just change some ore block textures? maigawd.
You realise that he doesn't even have to update it at all, right? It's something that he does forfree in his spare time with nothing forcing him to upload it
He takes people's money. Then he tells everyone he quits. He keeps the money. Then he comes back and takes some more. Then he quits again. The only reason it's not outright THEFT is because it's technically a "donation." But if you are one of the people who donated, only to get robbed, I am betting you're not happy about it.
(I'm not talking about AdFly, I am talking about that DONATION link on the front page.)
When people offer to help, he tells them to eff off. He won't allow anyone to contribute to the pack, and so it's been stuck at 60% or less for YEARS. Now with all the new textures, the likelihood he will EVER finish it is impossible.
Which is too bad, because what he has done has been pretty good. But it's his impossible "hipster artist" attitude that is killing the reputation of this pack.
By the way, I posted this in my free time. There's no one forcing you to comment on posts like these.
