First of all, huge thanks to the creator! What a fantastic pack!
I'm just having some issues with the pack though.
1. Upon placing things or mining, some or all blocks will become transparent. This happens randomly, and only upon placing things or mining.
2. The torches have a white outline around them. I'm not sure what it is. I had to turn smoke off in the menu, because it looked really bad. The same thing also happens upon killing a mob. It's like it's trying to make smoke or something, but instead, these white splotches appear.
I have 8gb ram, minecraft uses 3gb so, I don't know, but I try to get the 256x256 one. and no, that was really my texture pack, it just don't change to r3d craft.
after i install optifine and use the 256 or 156 texture pack i keep getting x ray moments where i can see through blocks. nevermind gents. it was the multicore setting that was making the textures weird.
Does it work for 1.7.9? Everytime I try to activate this resource pack it just does nothing. It instantly deactivates. (I'm using 512x512 smooth realism)

I do run mods, but I am running the compatible 'Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders' shader pack.
Other than that, I am not running any other mods that change the appearance of the world.
Both these errors should be related to shaders, but I need more information, as in forge version (if there is one), shadersmods version, optifine versions, and etc. The invisible blocks issue could be caused by the Optifine chunk loading (I usually use the default one or smooth), and the torch issue could simply be the shaderpack itself. I'll test it, though.
I'm currently developing a Terraria-like voxel-based game, and I wanted to know if you would be so kind as to grant me permission to use the textures from this resource pack in it. Up until now, I've been using Minecraft's vanilla textures, but I tested it out using this and liked the look a lot better. I don't plan on ever selling it (and if I do I'll be sure to let you know); it's mostly just a hobby. I'd also be sure to include a file giving credit to you as per its license.
Edit: I went and read the actual license text, and from what I understand, it grants me permission to use it freely as long as it's not the centerpiece of the work. I'm going to leave this post here just so you know that I've used the textures.
Try to PM the author, it'll be better. Because the chances of the author finding the post are very slim with the other posts.

Some of the textures aren't showing up for me, they worked before but now I've notice a few of the textures are default like the hay, and some other things.
For you who have followed this project for quite some time are probably getting tired of these posts, but yes, I'm back once again. I posted an update in February saying that I would be gone for a bit due to moving to a new apartment. Well, here I am, sitting comfortably behind my desk in my new apartment, ready to create more textures.
Also, R3D.CRAFT SR v0.1.8 will be posted within the next 2 hours. The changes are:
Added Pig
Added New HD font
Added Beacon beam
Added Sign
Added Emerald block
Adjusted Cobblestone
Adjusted Mossy Cobblestone
Changed Tallgrass
Changed grass
Changed dirt (w/ grass)
The main focus forward will be mobs. The most common mobs will be created first. I will also add specular maps at some point (used with shaders will create realistic light reflection). That's that. I'm glad to be back.I'll admit,
I've missed this project. If you want to throw tomatoes at me, I understand. Shame, I don't like tomatoes. They look delicate, like a big strawberries, but their taste reminds me of a confused, soft cucumber. Oh well.
Welcome back! Glad to see you're still making new textures, but I do hope you'll be giving some attention to the Default pack as well as the Smooth version now that you have the time to do so. Keep up the good work
I'm glad you come back that's great
also before you go and start on mobs I want to let you know that you've done every log but the birch and jungle one so please if you could work on them before you go to any other thing
thanks very much

Yeah, there are more common things yet unfinished like logs, leaves and podzol which will be focused on as well.
Holy god that mediafire download page is a flash back to everything that was wrong with the internet in 1989. Popups, generic virus warning, forced video ads...
It could only be more irritating if it flashed the screen and caused a seizure.

Might be your graphics adapter?

Choose a lower resolution and see if that helps.
Try running this without the shaders mod and see if the error is reproduced.
I believe only MCPatcher can do 512x textures. I haven't tried it on Optifine in the new versions, but it never worked for me.
