I don't have a facebook account (I refuse to get one), so I am going to comment on it right here, despite being instructed not to.
I (personally, anyway) think the water is a little too opaque. I think if you made the dark parts still dark, but much more transparent, it would give a better effect. If you are going for realism, I would remove most of the blue and just put a slight tint and little shimmeries (its a word as of Nov. 28, 2012 -- look it up.); however the nature of this pack would make such a thing seem out of place.
I would definitely go with making it more transparent. A little more contrast on the shimmeries would also probably enhance the effect. I do like the animation overall. It fits well with the theme of the pack, and frankly looks pretty dang good as-is.

Thank you for replying here. I respect your choice of not getting a Facebook account. You're not missing anything! ;D
I agree. I should work on it more. Try to achieve greater realism. It's just that it's much harder (or very time-consuming) to change these textures, since it's basically images, representing one texture, animating within itself. I'll look into it later (in the finishing phase (95% - 100%)).
Loving this pack but I will only use the classic version you were talking about, I just can't stand some HD things at the moment in this pack.
So when are you going to work on separating this into the true HD version and a more blocky classic version (with a square sun and such details)
Some things are easy to revert on your own.
The sun you can change back to default by opening the texture pack zip (with winzip, 7zip, etc) and navigating to the terrain folder and deleting sun.png in there.
You can revert to the default items by going into the gui folder and deleting items.png.
This can be done with a lot of things actually. Search around in the folders and find the things you don't like and delete them. If you mess something up you can always come back and redownload it.

I've already edited many of the packs I am using in this way. But there are still many blocks in the terrain.png and elsewhere that I think are worth to be changed when creating the classic version. I will probably edit this too, but I was just asking about his plans.
Just a reccomendation for Uniblue:
I think one reason that people are complaining about the lack of and begging for new mod support is that they are being mislead by the poll. The way the poll is set up seems to indicate that you are currently adding mod support, while in reality you aren't even done with default.
While I can't tell you how to run your thread, I can predict that keeping the current stats and deleting the poll will reduce the number of spam reccomendations and complaints. (I know it isn't 'spam' per say; I should have said 'repetitive')

Nice suggestion. I agree, actually. I already have 5 (minus one) mods that people have highly suggested, which I have even made a list out of. Why should I ask people to vote for more? xD
I'll remove it. I simply don't need it right now and as you suggested, it might make people misinformed about R3D.CRAFT and mods.

I don't see what you're still on about.
There are very few terrain blocks that haven't been done and all the most frequently seen ones have been completed already.
If you don't like the frequency of his updates find another texture pack instead of raging in here. Your complaints aren't going to magically give him more hours in a day.

What you seem to fail to realize is that Version 1.4.2, 1.4.4, and 1.4.5 all use the same textures; there is no need to update. What also seems to elude you is the fact that there are almost 700 texture images to be edited (this number does not count each bitmap separately rather it includes individual blocks/items/gui elements; but it is still a considerable amount). Uniblue has to juggle this pack, other projects, social life, any work/school he may be involved with, personal time, sleep, and anything else he might do.
In response to your claim of his "abandoning" the pack? He's made 6 posts on the last three pages alone, and one of them was a preview of what was to come in a future update! The part that astonishes (and slightly amuses) me about your latest posts is that you are not only complaining about the rate at which a free service is being produced, but you are accusing Uniblue of abandoning a project which he has, still is, and will continue to put much time and effort into. If you do not see what is wrong with either of these things, you clearly need to work on several [very basic] social skills.

You can't share an image like that. You need to upload it first. You can upload it to imageshack or photobucket
