IMPORTANT! READ:So the thing is, I started making this pack a while back, and right before I posted this, I found a texture pack that is REALLY similar to mine with a REALLY similar goal. Here it is:http://www.minecraft...exturepack-v16/
I also noticed he used the same methods of changing things as me: recoloring, swapping things out, minor touch-ups, brighter colors, etc. This does not mean I stole his textures. I modified them all myself. So now I have to make this pack look and feel different when you play with it.
Ok, now to my textures!
Goal: To make a texture pack that keeps the original feel of Minecraft, but with minor changes that make the game feel more alive. Brighter colors, more detail, but still same base textures (mostly).
I present:
HawtBlocks v2
You want pics? You got 'em:
Did I mention that this pack is compatible with Optifine's random mob skins? Well, here are the basic zombies:
Brown and black cows:
Creepers...kinda:
I'm pushing myself for more spiders. These are only some of them:
Just some block highlights (gold sword is changed, though):
The less-rough wool:
Emerald ore and blocks to fit with the others, as well as the gold and diamond hoe (now sceptres):
Schtuff I Changed:
Here is a list of changes I made. I'm gonna list all the major ones (and leave out the surprises). Brace yourself...
The list was way too long last time so now there is no list. I'll make a new one for the next update.
But in the meantime, here's some things you should know:
Brighter, more colorful wool for better-looking pixel art
Smoother grass
Tons of different skins for mobs (if you have Optifine)

I will update this pack as much as possible. It is not totally done because of the reason from above.
To get the full effect of this pack, download Optifine here and turn random mobs 'ON' in the options.
If you would like to have a texture, feel free to ask me for permission before you use it.
Any feedback would be appreciated on what I could improve on. Thanks.
This pack is in the works and requires Optifine for it to look right. All will be explained in these pictures:
Trust me, this pack will look God awful if you don't have Optifine. Optifine makes the sky, fog, and water red, so just get it.

Please tell me any problems you have with this pack in the comments. Thanks
Keep up your Work!
Thanks, mate!
