This texture pack is for those of you who want to take Minecraft further, but not too far into the future. You just want it to be modern, to be contemporary. This is the pack to enhance your skyscrapers, and beautify your homes!
It is also the only HD modern pack I could find...

I was searching for a good modern looking texture pack for weeks, and I just could not find one, so I made my own! It is HD, so you will need either Optifine or MCpatcher.

Iron needs rivets!
Iron bars become Chain link fence!
Glowstone becomes florescent lights!
Cobwebs become barbwire!
Torches become Gas Lamps!
Redstone torches are batteries that power insulated wire!
We washed your windows, no more streaks!
Netherbrick becomes concrete!

I used Vattic's Faithful 32x32 pack as both a starting point and as placeholder. His wonderful pack can be found here:

Install: needs to be extracted into your texturepack folder... not quite sure why...

Thanks, it will work if extracted to an unzipped folder. I am trying to figure out how to get it to work zipped. I have a dislike for the .zip format, so I forgot to try that.

Tried your suggestion, and it worked. Thanks again, I will upload the fixed version soon.

I don't see why people just can't just embed pictures in their threads, it makes no sense, learn to use imgur or to just embed that flickr image
