Myth: Bucket fill texture packs reduce lag.
The only way bucket fill texture packs would reduce lag would be if the pack was ACTUALLY 1x1 (As in, the terrain.png itself is resized to 16x16.) Just bucket-filling the textures won't do a thing if the pack is the default res. Would CryEngine2 be able to run on an old netbook if the textures were all one color? You would probably think that's preposterous. Well, it doesn't. And guess what? Minecraft works the same way!
first off i wanna comment on the dicks who insulted the texture pack. **** you guys. 2nd i wanna say that you couldnt make his texture pack in a day cause theres over 160 blocks added by hack/mine and he got them all. 3rd im pretty sure none of us would have the patience to do a hack/mine yet this 10 year old already did one which is awesome. i like all the hack/mine textures he added. i agree that some items could be changed but its a pretty good pack.
