Head on over to http://www.planetmin...25-dangercraft/ to see the PlanetMinecraft post for an upcoming texture pack I have been working on for about two months now using Paint.net and Gimp.
My Goal with this pack was to round off the hard edges of blocks, while at the same time, smoothing and polishing the flat surfaces, and it has come out looking better than I ever expected (although, it did take a lot longer than I expected (100+ hours of pixel placement). It looks like a cartoon or a bunch of plastic toys.
I chose 64x as the best compromise between quality and performance. Please, don't start in with "you should have done 256x" I wasn't about to spend a hundred (maybe two hundred, at that pixel depth) hours working on a texture pack when my own computer can't run it at a playable FPS. Besides, this pack looks really darn good for a 64x pack.
I have never been a fan of using an HD texture pack along side mods that add a bunch of 16x textures of their own, but I am at a point in my minecraft life where certain mods have become almost indespensable, so I am including texture pack support for a bunch of mods, and working on the textures for a whole host more.
Most notably, this pack will include HD textures for Flowerchild's incredible Better than Wolves mod I can't imagine playing without this mod (aside from multiplayer ), so it was hard for me to imagine making a texture pack without supporting this mod. DangerCraft is also currently supporting several of Risugami's mods, Mighty Pork's Backpack Mod, MontyPylon's More Pistons and Connected Textures. I am also including support for for Connected textures and for Too Many Items. Randomobs is also supported (with over 200 mob variants). This pack will have A LOT of content, and a couple random Easter-egglike details.
In the future, I would like to support Pchan3's Airship mod, and Chocolatin's Better Dungeons, and would also like to include support for TyberAlyx's Tale of Kingdoms, Ichun's Portal Gun Mod, lKink's Paintball mod, Mr_Crayfish's Furniture Mod, Balkon's Weapons, and StarshadeJack's Swords+. I would Also like to do textures for Buildcraft, Industrial Craft II, RedPower and I will probably do support for the Aether 2, once it becomes available.
Full credit for all the aformentioned mods goes to the authors, and I do not intend for these mods I am supporting to be seen as any kind of a Mod-pack (in fact, I'm pretty sure that they aren't even all compatible amongst themselves.)
If anyone wants to see a specific mod done in Dangercraft (or if any modders would like me to consider their mod) throw a blurb up, and Head on over to http://www.planetmin...25-dangercraft/ to see more screenshots, and huck some diamonds at me.

All your Craft Are Become Mine.
I wouldn't exactly call this "just a redirect to my PLMC page." Did you read my whole post, or just the first two lines?
Besides, I'm not looking for feedback on forum etiquet or hyperlinking, thank you. I am looking for feedback on the art itself.
