I thought i was done for the night, but no... I had a great idea for leaves. Weird ones that have long double ends. I know i said i would include doll's eyes somewhere, and then never did, but here they are, part of the leaf texture.
I may need to tweak the color a bit, but otherwise, how is it?

is the flesh log supposed to look alive, rot or carbonized? it looks a lot like roasted beef for me...
but anyway, good textures, and most important, good idea, really fits the pack surreal theme.

It's supposed to look like a fleshy colored log with some bones in the middle.

Horizontal ctm for the tops and bottoms might be cool, to make the bigger trees feel like one piece, yet at the same time it could mess it up. . .hmm.

Other than that it looks amazing
I really don't want to do that. I mean, it looks great on a 2x2 tree, but when you have logs connecting in odd shapes, it looks horrible, and that happens quite a bit.
The vines i made before were really meant for swamps, they look fine in other biomes, but clashed pretty badly with the jungle leaves i had. So i made some more jungle appropriate vines.
I realized that the doll's eyes i had mixed in with the jungle leaf texture looked just a bit out of place. Not tacked on, but the plant type seemed different enough to give the impression that it's some invasive plant living within the jungle tree's leaves rather than part of the tree.
So i went with it. Vines are more doll's eyes climbing down the trees.
Keep in mind, these appear ONLY in jungle biomes, so these won't be messing up swamps and... wherever else you find vines. These use randomized vertical ctm. What do you think?
That looks amazing!
And for the oak leaves in the jungle I just had a very out of the box idea. But it's probably too weird even for this pack. ;D
I thought of the leaves not really being leaves, but rather some kind of garbage, dirt piles or something like that and, I hope I am not mistaking, there is only one wood trunk in those bushes, right? So then it could be some kind of a box / treasure "hidden" under that rubbish / buried in the dust containing wood. (Well, simply a box or a primitive old chest which when you mine would give you wood. The idea is that you would break the box itself and the wood would pop out of it.
But meh, I don't know, plus I suck at explaining.
That is a neat idea, but unfortunately it wouldn't work. Only about half the oak trees in jungles are the short bush types. Plenty are actual regularly shaped trees.

It also wouldn't work because the bushes use jungle wood as well.
Basically, i want it to be cluttered looking and very green, just like a real jungle. Slightly confusing to look at in large amounts.
As for jungle wood, i had something for that, but it was horrible, so i won't be using it and i've started off on something much nicer and art nouveau themed, because i think my pack needs more of that.
First, I thought your leaves were a stall of fresh fishes..shining and stenching with this yummy green hue. Like this one too!
Yeah, they do have a fish-like quality XD
I was actually going for something a bit bland and unassuming with this texture. The jungle oaks are meant to just be filler, to make jungles more cluttered, so i want to keep these as just that. Filler. They're there, but no one is really looking at them... Perhaps for that reason, it might be fun to random ctm a fish into it, just to see if anyone ever notices.

the new jungle planks are cool on their own, but compared to the od ones they are just perfect(that's a compliment)
with that done, what is else to the update?(i know i asked this a thousand times, but i'm ot good at keeping up with stuff.)

I found more stuff i forgot about. Spruce planks. Birch trees/planks. Pumpkins, melons, new fish, cocoa pods, saplings, and miscellanious random junk varients for plants.

Retired StaffI forgot about that, thanks for reminding me. I'll fix that in this next update as well.
I see you made ctm already as well, NICE.

Retired StaffThey aren't actually eyes, doll's eyes are a type of plant.
Those are berries that resemble eyes. But yeah, i definately need to make one or two blink occasionally.

Retired StaffMore of that vertical-repeat ctm.
I was going for something rather art nouveau, but it came out looking more western style. Oh well.
