Yeah! I could have these +-arranged flaps on the front and some weird pump on the back. When it fires, the flaps could fly open.
Although I'm not totally sure you can get the firing form of the ghast working with random mobs.
It should work fine. Randommobs uses a numbering system. Basically, using chickens as an example... chicken.png goes in the regular entities folder. Varients go in mcpatcher/mobs and are numbered. chicken2.png, chicken3.png etc.
Since the ghast texture used when firing has a different file name, as long as the numbers match up it should work. Don't worry, kahr thinks of these things.
Don't make a biome-specific stained clay for this pack. It would be hilarious to see a tile biome. I mean, this is entitled Broken Anachronism, isn't it? What if cavemen were skilled tile-makers? What if canyons were used as dumping grounds for decrepit tiled-flooring, aka a flooring graveyard?

So I wanted to ask if anyone else is getting this odd glitch where if your in a cave during the day its just as bright as it would be on the surface, then when night rolls around it gets dark with it. It's odd and frankly very annoying. Anyone know? Also I was curious if you'll be adding sounds to this pack as well?

That is because of the light color map this guy is using. If you don't like it just change it to a different one or remove it entirely and the light will reset to minecraft's default.

the snow is actually ashes.... happen to watch Doctor Who?
I do. Oddly enough, that's not what inspired it. I just wanted something more gritty and apocalyptic than snow. It's part ash and part snow, really. I had meant to make spruce trees burnt and smouldering. I need to get around to doing that.

That sounds like a glitch in your game, not with my pack, although i do have my lightmap set up so you never end up in total darkness, and can still sort of see without a light source, but if it gets darker at night, the only thing i can guess is that there are some blocks missing letting in light.
As for sounds, i might. I want to, but i need to find a way to get about $200 together to buy a good quality portable sound recorder, and since i'm unemployed and no one uses the donate button all too often, i'm not sure if i'll be able to do that any time soon.

I am surprised you are not a professional artist(proffesional as in job) although u guess there would not be demand for pixel artists. The point is I am surprised that you don't have a job. P.S. you don't need sound equipment for everything, the main sound I think you would need equipment for are like the flintlock bow, movement and ouch sounds.

wow. well, whatever inspired it, its amazing. i love the pack. the only issues i have with it is how out of place the non textured stuff looks. but i guess when 1.7 rolls around, i can fill those in with whatever i please ^-^
oh, also, i used your pack to figure out the random ctm for dirt etc. i hope you dont mind :S

Retired StaffOh right, yes. That stuff too.
I'm thinking the eyes will be completely redone.

id shank obama for a slice of THAT cheese.
And the lapis lazuli ore is a TARDIS.

And how do I do that exactly?
%appdata% > .minecraft > versions > 1.6.2 > 1.6.2.jar > assets > minecraft > textures > colormap

look in the mcpather file in the assets folder then go to light map and do with those textures as you please. Of course within the authors curtousy.
