True... i painted it white in the last update to help eliminate that issue, but it still persists... i'm thinking the only option left is either experiment with other possible colors, or perhaps make it semitransparent. I need to experiment a bit.
If you work with different colors, same as colors would mesh together making somethings work but other not, the only thing I can think of is most likely switch to transparency sadly.

I've had another idea... i could switch the metal plates over to wood, and could make it a rather smooth, polished extremely dark mahogany type thing... if not, and i end up having to go with transparency, i could make it look like the glass texture i use already, broken and cracked bits in it and such, so it wouldn't be too bad anyway.

This is by far is my favorite texture pack considering the ones tied for second place are Last Days and Glimmar's Steampunk, this one is perfect for me. In reguards to the Cow texture. You could do a cow, or perhaps an miniture elephant of some sort? For wolves I'd LOVE a Tasmanian Tiger, if you don't know what one is I suggest you look them up, they're quite facinating creatures. Too bad they're extinct now.

Passing by for suggest: one rare variant of the cows (or any other mob, it doens't matter) could have no skin, and be covered with some old coat, but in a way you could still see it had nothing outter than flesh under it.
I know it doens't make that much sense, but who cares?
This is an amazing texture pack (or should I say resource pack? Is there really even a difference?)! I absolutely love the old, rusted beauty everything has!

Good idea, but what if it were a leather jacket? Then it might make a bit more sense...
It's some sort of clockwork bat/insect/flying thing.
It has some gears inside... and a clockwork wind up key on the back... and some eyeball-like things... yep, it's whatever one of those things that have those parts are.
Also, look what i found out how to do.
I can never get rid of those odd lines sticking out of it... i've checked for extra rows of pixels, or semitransparent stuff, there's nothing of the sort, yet all my textures get that for some reason.
Perhaps cows could be gross, hulking masses of lumpy tissue with wooden or metal rods for legs? Heads, faces, and any distinguishing features at all on the mass would be optional. It is not recommended to think too deeply about the truth behind the "milk" they produce.
I have absolutely no idea where this idea came from but I'm posting it anyways

That actually sounds excellent. I use randommobs, and most of what i add are recolors of the same texture with slight variations, but i like to add 1-2 unique rare varients as well... something like that would really work well for it. That's definately going to happen.
It can't be too gory though, since i don't want it looking like soul sand is walking around on stilts. (soul sand is a pile of guts in this pack id you didn't know) so the cow thing will have to be a... uh... fleshlumpasaurus type thing. A lumpy pinkish blob that is mostly bald aside from a few tufts of hair here and there, maybe an eyeball that is just a bit off from where it should be.
I don't know if you've thought about this, but you might want to make the zombie pigmen, skeleton, and zombie textures all work for the armor in the game. I would hate to have you redo it because you realized the textures wouldn't match up properly with the armor.

The armors were built around the "steve" texture, i figured i'd build the zombies and skeletons around that. Really all that i need to get right is the eye placement.
How about a white refrigerator (the body part) invaded by a creatre of some sort (the legs)? The head could be the generator that is usually on the back of fridges or something.
Both beef and milk would make sense.
EDIT: Now tht I think about it, it would be very strange if it walked on the creatures sticking out of it...
Then the legs could perhaps be a table legs kind of thing with little wheels at the end, kind of a mobile fridge, and the head part could be a creature stuck inside it.
I quite like this idea. Something using the refrigerator as a hermit crab uses its shell would be odd enough to fit in, as well as bizarre enough, without being entirely unbelievable. Plus, it adds the slightly creepy question of what this creature could actually be. Perhaps some variants could have the refrigerator at different levels of decay, revealing more of the creatures body?

I might just add that as a random varient. I've been working on the snowman... i was thinking of having it being a refridgeration unit of some kind, then i realized... it's throwing urns, snow is ash, i should be making it some sort of bone grinder.
Anyway i had a thought about sheep... the sheared version. Notice that the shears in my pack are nothing more than a rusty straight razor? Yeah... sheared sheep won't be bald, they'll be sheared down to the muscle and bone. Maybe i'll add a small adhesive bandage to the entirely skinned sheep as well.

Maybe it could have some sort of gate to insert body remnants!

So... you'll be shearing off skin?

Retired StaffIn the order they appear:
Brownish chicken, Red chicken, spine chicken, fancy dark chicken, slightly golden brown chicken, nudist chicken.
The spine actually bends at the bottom ingame, the program i use to view models just did it a bit odd, so i had to edit the spine in manually.
