Just putting in my two cents, I personally like the screws, but would it be a stretch to say that welding is a viable option?
It's possible... if you look carefully the crafting table does have a welder built in.
But welds only hold so much, heavy bolts or screws are required for anything that needs to hold a lot of weight, or hold two very heavy things together.
Um, I don't know, just when I look at it, it seems a bit like small waves that stood still at first.
I mean, it's alright, no big deal, just not what I would imagine for wooden door. But hey, it's your pack and I am weird. ;D
I do kind of see it now that you mention it. But, it's really meant to be indentations, like this...
Well yeah, you can keep it the way it is. I just thought it wasn't exactly what I imagined, but there's always gonna be someone not completely satisfied with somehing.
By the way, I thought you said about a week ago you would upload to mediafire or something if Curse didn't start working again in 2 days, didn't you? ;D But no rush, I don't want to be pushy.
I got everything working and just released it, actually. On curse.

Wait, really? I'd just given up and was waiting on you to make a post about it.
You're doing the armor textures next, right? Are you going to include a "default" skin in this release, or should that go under mobs?

Actually, i was planning it as a mob, but i think ill put it in the release instead, so ill have something to use to model the armor on.
looks great, but uh, the TNT animation does not work, and all the glass is completely transparent
In addition it is really hard to tell what I have in my hot bar, it's all just shades of red and grey :\
You need to use mcpatcher for betterglass support, optifine doesn't support it... and it doesn't support random ctm all too well either, and turns it into the big mess you see there. Optifine doesn't seem to take into account the weights of the textures.
anyway, what should i do to improve the hotbar? partial transparency?

Retired StaffThat might just work... I'll keep the metal plates, but have them painted.

Retired StaffThey're where the surrealism aspect of my pack will really come out.
Not steam powered robots (well, maybe the iron golem can be) but there will definately be nothing regular about them.
