Anyway, i could redo a few more textures while we're waiting, so the next release is even better.
So, help me decide which textures are truly horrible enough to merit a full redo. Nothing stone or wood related though, that's going to be a whole big release on its own.
Here i have a new wooden door, to replace the terrible old one.
It comes in 4 random ctm variants with random shards of glass left in the frame.
Anyway, since it seems to be rather impossible to keep the double door feature working with random ctm, i might end up taking out the varients and limiting it to one, unless i can find a fix for this bug.
if its all the same to you i'm gonna keep the old glass
i'm making an underwater adventure map and the missing pieces of glass might spoil the effect a bit.
but in any other situation it would be better.

I believe you said you wanted to redo the lever earlier.
And, if I may make a suggestion, while we're waiting on Curse to stop being broken, why not go ahead and do some of the 1.6 textures? (Since by the time you get it uploaded 1.6 will be out anyways...)

just pull the "myglass" folder out of the ctm folder, the original glass texture is still in the blocks section.

I don't like to do any textures for a new minecraft update until it's out, because half the time mojang decides to change the texture map entirely, which breaks it.

I got double doors working and made the glass in them transparent. There's occasional overlap on the glass, since the window frame isnt symmetrical, but it's not too noticable unless you are looking for it.
They indeed are a big improvement, they now suit the other blocks usually connected with those just fine.
I am just not entirely sure with the triangular structure on the wooden door though (near the doorknob). It just feels too... watery to me.

Retired StaffI posted them both twice, the second time in reverse order.
Be more specific. Alpha, or overlay?
The one you can actually see out of.

Retired StaffWell, more people prefer alpha, but it's pretty easy to switch.
just open renderpass.properties in the pack's root folder, and change the bit that says "alpha" to "overlay"
I might even upload it twice to have both versions.

Retired StaffYeah, but they actually seem to know what the problem is now and they're working on it.

Retired StaffThe plate under the doorknob with the keyhole?
If anything, rivets would be better
or more screws...

Retired StaffIt's pretty hard to make screws look right at 64x if they're any smaller.
