When I first started out playing Minecraft, I had no idea that zombies were in the game, and heard them moan underground when I walked in forests, so I thought they were angry monkeys and would never go into forests.
I'd personally like to see that put in. Just a big sasquatch-esque monster.
I think non-hostile mobs should be kept vanilla imo, if not just touched up to match the theme (with the exception of the pig, which really isn't even that far an evolution)
Zombies- maybe desperate souls infected with a flesh eating virus? (they run to you for aid, you get damaged by the infection)
Spiders- land octopus? 8 legs = tentacles, head= teeth, body= dome
Skeletons- I think nuclear-charred skeletons would do nicely
Just going to post this here to prove im still working on it...
The lights on the arrow sign come on as the thing is smelted, and there's a ah... thermometer over there because i'm not creative. I think i may be getting better at scrollwork though.
And for cows, how about a type of buffalo or a goat or something?
Goat could work... they're milkable and have horns, so the model works fine, as does the concept. As soon as soundpacks are possible, it would be an easy fix to make them stop mooing.
I may be completely wrong, but I cant help but feel that most of the people who comment here have completely missed the whole point of the texture pack.
also why is everyone acting like remembering what stuff is is the hardest thing in the world? Lapis is a Tardis diamond ore is a box of tech- as someone who has been playing since alpha these changes are probably my favorite things about this pack.
default minecraft stuff SUCKS!

keep up the good work.
By the way, what are you planning for the hardened clay blocks and it's colors?
We've already got Wool being wallpaper, so are you going to make more variants, or will you just make it one block with different colors like it is now?

I wouldn't mind redoing the wallpaper and tiles... i could do all of the wool as wallpaper, and all of the clay as tiles.
Or perhaps ctm the wool so the tops are tiles, since it's mostly a flooring anyway, and all of the sides are wallpaper, and then do something else for clay... maybe something with peeling paint?
This is an amassing texturepack here have my like, if it was not so weird i would totally use it.
I am not saying it is bad, it is just not suitable for my survival gameplay
Give it about an hour, and you'll learn what's what. It just takes a little getting used to, then it's easy enough to use.

I suppose i see what bugs a lot of people... it's the fact that my pack changes the game completely. People who want to play minecraft, as minecraft won't appreciate my pack as much as those who want to play a game similar to minecraft that's a bit different.
I was thinking it's something you might find in a junkyard...
could a rotary gear turning a spring with a mark on it work?
as in there is a coil spring rotating, and as it gets more tightly wound, the product is closer to finishing (the end point would be marked by a red dot or something), then the spring would uncoil (reset)

That's not possible. It's just one image that covers another one. no animation.
It'd be possible to animate it using CTM.
Animate both the GUI for the shadows and the arrow for the animation he suggested.
Nah, i like the light up arrow, it's staying.
I'm working on the brewing stand GUI now. Im changing the arrow to a glass tube that has a copper coil inside (a cooling coil) it will have a little tank at the bottom and pipes going to the potions... but i need an idea for what should go on the bubbles side (the bubbles that animate to the left of the potion slots)
I really need to do something about that font color in GUIs. I need to make it black. Probably something in the color.properties. Anyone know what? If not, ill figure it out eventually.
Just the texture alone for those splicers out there:
The arrow has been replaced with a clear tank of liquid that slowly drains until the potion is finished.
The bubbles have become gauges that fluctuate when it's in use.
Can't wait till the pack is dun! then i can use it all day long and record videos with it, and have the link to it in the description in every video that it is in!

Yes, please do that. That would be excellent

Also, I would like to note, I would love to use this in a build I am working on. Video will be with it, if I have your permission.

EDIT: I forgot that the actual texture itself moves, so nevermind.

An egg timer.
Maybe little thermometers (like the ones filled with mercury) that move up and down, like the temperature's constantly fluctuating

Retired StaffThat could work if i made it so it's partly filled by default and just added fluctuating bits.
