Any interest in making extra textures for various popular mods? I bloody love your pack, but I play on FTB and having the pretty vanilla buildcraft machines looking all pretty and vanilla would kinda ruin the effect with the apocalyptic vibe you have going here.

Once i finish i might just do that. I doubt i could texture everything included in FTB though.

so, it seens gold related stuff is just gonden fancy stuff. what the gold ingot and nugget itself will be? and will the armor still follow the same initial ideas you posted some long times ago, or ya changed yer mind?
I did the gold nugget as a gold tooth, with a bit of blood:
Thanks, I was expecting something like this for a while now. You've obviously got a great imagination, so I was surprised when you said you going with the generic coin/ring. It didn't really fit in with the theme of the pack, and is put in tons of other texture packs. Glad I could come up with something better for you.
Ill be waiting until i finish the rest of the items to do another release.
Don't worry, there aren't that many individual textures left, about half are derivative...
As in things that share a texture but are different slightly. Minecart types, dyes, potions, etc.
Sounds neat, any estimate on when you'll finish the rest? Maybe at the end of the month, or is that too optimistic?
Also, what do you have planned for the dyes? Just a lump of color like we've got now, or will they be in boxes or something? Maybe an old paintbrush? Also also, what are you doing after you finish the items? Mobs, or the GUI? Like I said before, the GUI would be pretty quick and easy, and is one of the biggest aspects of the game texture-wise, so it could probably warrant an entire release on it's own.

Indeed a gold tooth is excellent.
As for dyes, i was thinking i might do ink bottles in different colors for the mixed dyes, but something suiting for the material ones.
(material ones meaning... bone meal, squid sacs, rose red, cactus green, that sort of thing, but mixed will be ink bottles)
I have no idea when i'll finish the items, probably not by the end of the month, but likely within about 2 weeks, possibly less.
As for doing GUI next, i realized that the particles are missing, and that is technically part of the GUI, so i will be doing that next. Particles are quite important, especially with my pack's redstone system. I have no idea why they're missing however.

Yea, I noticed the particles are gone, and it kinda bugged me. Like I said before, I had to change off the texture pack to do my redstone-ing.
I spent a good twenty minutes looking around in Optifine's options menu trying to turn them back on.
For the menus, are you going to do a simple design like the Vanilla menus? I think a scrap of paper with circles drawn in for the slots would work decently for the pack, but it might be too visually noisy.

I was thinking of doing a wood, copper, and brass theme that appears to be falling apart.
Perhaps cactus green can be a goo or ground-up remains of whatever got caught in it (It seems like it has a turbine in the center) and boiling tar for ink sacs (Works especially well if you plan on making squids appear to be at least partially clockwork).

It's really not that bad. It looks like it could take a little getting used to, and some of the ores and blocks look a little strange, but overall it's pretty good.

Yea, it takes a while to get used to, but after you figure out what's what then it's an awesome pack.

Retired StaffGold ingot i think will be a pile of gold stuff, and the nugget will likely be a single gold ring or coin.
Aw, come on now, that's boring. A coin is the first thing everyone thinks of.
How about a gold tooth or something?

Retired Staffredstone dust... copper pipes.
brick:
nether brick:
freaky bird statue (gold ingot)
glowstone dust (it's a filament)
Flint...
the gold ingot is one of the most creative ingots in the history of minecraft. what the nether brick and flint are suposed to be?
Bein' normal for suckers.
Flint appears to be a spark plug, and the nether brick looks like a brick covered in sludge, likely medical waste.

Retired Staffexactly. Flint is a spark plug, and nether brick is just an extremely dirty brick.
