I notice that almost all of the passive mobs don't have custom textures. Suggestion: Chickens could be moving food synthesizers and the eggs are chunks of partially synthesized food.

I like it, but it doesn't quite fit my pack's theme.
And yes, i need to do mob textures, all ive done so far is the creeper.
Mobs will probably not be done until the second to last pack release.
The remaining pack releases, if all goes well are in order: items, mobs, gui/finishing touches
If I may make a suggestion, why not do the GUI next? It adds a huge touch to the game and is pretty simple once you get the first one done, after that it's just copy/pasting. ...Or were you planning something bigger?

Alongside the gui i was planning to add weather, skyboxes, etc. And i wasn't just talking about the inventory/chest/crafting/etc backgrounds, but also the health, buttons, all that stuff.
It's really not that much, and you do kind of have a point, it's the most glaringly vanilla aspect my pack still has.
I'm assuming that you'll also have a "maintenance" cycle in there as well, adding any new textures needed as Mojang expands the game. Once you reach that stage, are you going to look at expanding into mod textures? It seems like there are a fair number of mods out there that would fit with your theme.

Those releases i mentioned are basically just what it takes to make this a complete texture pack. I will of course maintain it.
As for mods... extrabiomes xl and rei's minimap for sure. Probably others as well.

I like the look of everything thus far! The Quartz even fits the theme I was doing in that one world for the Queen of Heart's Castle! Keep up the good work!

A bit earlier, I don't know where, somebody suggested that shears would be Freddy Kreuger's trademark claws or something. Then you said "You win. I'm doing this." or something to that effect.
I don't know where it is, I looked but couldn't find it. I think it was around the tool update.

Perhaps for the shears have a giant straight razor (The kind barbers used in the 1800s and earlier, think Sweeny Todd's razor), or a steampunk version of Freddy Krueger's iconic glove.
And 13thMurder said "You win. This is going to happen" referring to the giant straight razor/Sweeny Todd idea, not the Freddy Krueger glove. The fact that both ideas were presented at once and 13th didn't specify which one won may have lead to that confusion.
I like the cake, what are you planning for the actual block?
Is it going to be just a regular cake, or is it going to have that wrapper on it?
Also, will it have a shoe print on it?
And by the way, what are you planning for Beef?
