the idea here is that this is the device that set off the whole time mess that caused the apocalypse/anachronism. basically it distributes particles that disrupt time, but it only works once, since adding more particles to an area that already has fallout from them will be unaffected, so only the explosive charge that distributes them has any effect.

any suggestions for what to do for the bed would be great.
For the bed, you could make it look like a lot of scrap metal that has been poorly wielded together, and have a bare, stained mattress on top. Have like pipes for the thick poles of the bed stand, and crappy bits of wire and little rods for the extra struts or something. Just an idea.

it would look cool, but its a bit too GSGO* for me.
*since the phrase "glue some gears on" seems to come up in steampunk stuff, im going to be abbreviating it from now on. everything must appear to have a functional purpose, if its a functional item like a wire, gear, pipe, etc.
I think the bed should be unpolished wooden frame with a stained and slightly ripped mattress, blanket, pillow, etc. Just an idea to run on.

like the total lack of skill i had when i started this? i learned along the way. try it, you'll find that the farther along you get, the easier it is.
Planned changes: darken it overall a bit, make the pipes all the same color, rotate the top texture so it doesn't look weird sideways.
anything else i ought to change before i do the lit animation/dispenser textures? also, if you can suggest any extra details that might work nicely on the top, that would be great, i sort of ran out of ideas for that, so it seems a bit bland and simple.
For the bed you could have it made from the jungle wood in appearance with the legs on the frame twisted a bit and maybe blankets/a mattress sewn (stapled/fused/whatever floats your boat) together from different hides of animals.
For the bed, I'm thinking that machine-platform Darth Vader was made on. I really like the other textures, just about everything you come out with is great =D
For the furnace animation, maybe the pipes could glow an orange-red from being heated by whatever gasses are passing through them? Could also have the pressure gauge moving and fire flickering behind the grates.
I think that's one of the best furnaces I've seen yet - definitely a keeper. Likewise on the jukebox textures. My mother had something similar in her house at one point... I don't know if it's still there, but the speaker cover arrangements are spot-on.

the furnace has been redone. im working on the animation right now. i like the new one a whole lot better.

what's the significance of 5:02? i put it as 00:00 to indicate that it has not yet been set.
Amazing isnt even enough for this. Love it. Also youve forgotten snow which I forgot to tell you 2 weeks ago when I noticed it.
i realized that actually. im planning on doing another room of my texture facility for the forgotten textures. snow, endstone, ice, sponge, whatever else it turns out ive forgotten...
