Yeah... currently i'm working on lapis. This is what i have now:
It's 2x2 repeat ctm. I actually kind of hate it. It's better than what i had before, but i don't think i'll be using this. Not sure where i want to go with lapis.
Amazing pack. Spiders are incredibly creepy and the atmosphere is great.
The spiders are actually harvestmen in my pack, which is weird, since i really like spiders... Harvestmen are arachnids, but they're not spiders. The main difference being that their body consists of a single segment, and they don't have venom or silk glands. They're scavengers, rather than predators.
I had a thought that I felt like sharing relating to the poll you have going on and for the new blocks that are being added in 1.8. I think that instead of making all three of the quartz blocks green, it might look good to brighten the red portions a little on the chiseled quartz block to make it more similar to the red of the pillar quartz. And for the pillar quartz, I would leave the main body of the pillar red, but make the decorative portions on the top and bottom the same green color as the regular quartz. I think that would make it fuse together better.
For the newer stone blocks that are being introduced in 1.8, I think those blocks would be perfect to use for different types of decorative marble. Given the high victorian style this pack goes for, I think the lack of different types of marble is one of the main things its missing.

Yep, that's exactly what i'm doing with the new stone. As for quartz... i'm not so sure about having red in there at all.
Yeah, i'm going to see if i can make biome specific lava for the nether so it can be a river of disgusting biowaste in the nether, but still be molten rock in the overworld.
Although i'm not sure if ctm works on lava (it sure doesn't on water) and i'm not sure the nether is a biome. I'll look into it.

CTM works on the bottom of lava, but not on any other faces. Not that that helps.

Fairly certain the Nether is a biome. When you F3 in the Nether, the part that says what biome you're in says "Hell" (apparently they changed the name of it partway through development, but never changed the name in the code itself). It has Biome ID 8, if you need the number.
The new Lapis block looks amazing. There is one thing I should point out for the coming update, the way the snow is now when it is falling (i.e. what appears to be sheets instead of individual flakes), it looks kind of weird when you walk through it as its falling and its a little nauseating to work in when falling.
Edit: I just noticed that the other packs do it as well, I think that the amount of of snow in the sheets should be reduced to make it blend together better.
Lapis block is done. Blue marble with riveted panels for the walls, and a fancy pattern for the floor.
I could use ideas what to do for the ore.
Ooh, this is really pretty!
As far as the ore goes... Chunks of jewelry embedded in the stone? The metal would be irrecoverably diffused into the mineral bed after a couple million years, or they could just be paper-wrapped chunks of material, bits of blue showing through the wrapping.
Pardon my horrible memory, but you DID say you were gonna use lapis for lapis, yeah? If not I'll try again.

Well, blue marble, really. I don't quite like the actual lapis color, but it's close enough.

The idea is that it's the same mineral, right? Even though you've taken some license with the exact hue?
Historically it's been used for dishes, paintings, statuary and jewelry, so those are all things that could be found after a timescrew cataclysm, as well as dye vials, mosaic tiles, so on.
Also, if you want to call it something different so it's not the same as vanilla, or just want a lore excuse for why it's not the right shade, it's fairly common for it to diffuse into marble, and "lazurite marble" would be accurate.
