also, ive improved the head a bit. the teeth stick out a bit in the screenshot making it look like they are just painted on, rather than inset. i did some shading.
Great. Can't wait to hear the 'SssssSSSSsss'. That thing would scare a clown.
i do need some ideas as for what to put on its head. the other sides of the head that aren't the face are just sort of... red. they have a texture, but its pretty boring. it needs some kind of hair or headgear or markings or something.
Insanely good.
It's very well made. 20 hours ? OMG. Wow, I'm not sure to tell if there's something I don't like about it then... XD
I'm not sure about the feet and the hat.
Maybe some hair instead of the hat. Black or dark green. He looks quite distinguished, so the hat is a little bit out of place IMO.
I'm not sure you have to show the explosives on him. I think we know he will explode, just by looking at his crazy psychotic head
Edit:
What about some big watch like this, in front, instead of the explosives ?
my thoughts on this..... with the grass i would love to see a mix of 1 and 2 and with the sand i like #2 best. i like the idea of the diamond ore tbh. i like the #2 sand because of how it looks like waves of water has been over it "beach: stile.(sorry for all misspellings in my post) my thoughts on the creeper is dark green hair a pocket watch in front of his sssshirt and tbh i see it more with yellowish eyes tbh. i love the shoes on him. i like the ideas/looks of the ores although i think a box made of diamonds/ crate holding diamonds maybe a bit better. i love the redstone"copper pipes" also i'd love to test your texture pack out some time when your able to get it in a way poassable to see what you have done.(edit at first all i saw was the first page after looking through all 4 as of this time i know for sure i'm going to come back looking for updates.)

i wasn't sure what to do for the head... definately NOT doing hair, since this thing isn't human, or even a mammal for that matter. the explosives were to just sort of make it obvious that this critter's gonna blow up. you can see at the top of the feet that it's basically a walking box of dynamite.
the clock on the back was supposed to be a bomb timer type thing, not so much a pocketwatch (was thinking of giving endermen those though)
but yeah, if i think of something better for the headgear, ill definately do it, as for the feet, yep they suck, but in minecraft what can you do for feet? im open to suggestions here, on how to improve them. just don't tell me to remove the dynamite from the top view of them, that's staying for sure advice on better boot design however would be great.

ive actually completely redone dirt, grass, and grass sides. i plan on redoing sand too. dont worry, im improving on what i already had by far.
the diamond box needs to be more diamond-y looking, yes. im working on it.
ill keep you in mind for when i release the testing map. it will be released once i do the redstone and coal ores, and torch textures.
the texture pack testing faclity from the outside!
yeah, it doesn't look like much, but when you are in it you only see the interior, so... its not all that relevant. this is just a preview, so you can only guess what might be inside. no spoilers, sorry.
the purple stuff is glass... its a bug, ill fix it when i do the glass texture, no point until then.
I like the idea of the ores! The grass is good too, but the cobblestone is too busy compared to everything else, you could fix this by making more things busy or re-doing the cobblestone. Also you kind of copied Glimars pack with the redstone.
Also Is that lapis supposed to be part of a tardis door? *high five*
The redstone ore is great, but there is something I would know.
What's the redstone supposed to be exactly ? Steam ? some substance inside the pipes ? Because it could be weird to have holes on the pipes then, since when you mine it, you are supposed to recover this substance. If there are holes on the pipes, it must have gone away already. You know what I mean ? Maybe I'm just too "pernickety" (just found that word that is the translation of what I mean in french, never seen it, i'm not sure it's the right one lol).
Or I'm totally wrong about it and the redstone is just the pipes, but it's a bit odd for me XD
Frankly I'm not very familiar with the steampunk genre but it's incredibly appealing.

Glimmar's Steampunk uses pipes too, yes, but his are redstone pipes, with bits of glowing redstone. ive redone the whole idea of redstone, and replaced it with copper piping full of steam. no visible redstone, turned the particle effects white, and ill be making a whispy steam vapor particle effect. i suppose it is similar, and not so original, however... there are a few packs ive seen that stuff redstone into pipes. last days, for example. (another great texture pack, with an apocalyptic theme)
as for the cobble, i do want to keep it sharp edged, but... i should make it blend a bit better, a bit less contrast and maybe some kind of mortar between them could help that, think so?

it will make a bit more sense when the pack is finished. somehow, im going to make redstone torches into a boiler type thing with a steam gauge. these pipes are well... copper pipes. redstone powered items are now steam powered, and the pipes simply take the steam from the boiler source to the device that needs power. of course, they are in need of repair, but nothing that minecraft guy can't solve with that abnormally large square brain of his.
took me forever to figure out what to use for coal ore... i did a burnt wooden picture frame. not sure what i think of it one way or another... its broken up and shifted. thoughts?
Great. Can't wait to hear the 'SssssSSSSsss'. That thing would scare a clown.
finished the creeper skin. honestly, this took me about 20 hours. im slow, and it was insanely complicated... but i like how it came out. thoughts?

any more takers on testing it?
as for coal, i have some ideas, but if you know of any smallish common enough to be recognizable wooden items, id appreciate it.
there... now that's it. a bit of corrosion and a few holes make a nice difference.

and the lapis is indeed a bit of tardis door

-Your neighbor typeNtardis
check your inbox. i sent you the test pack/map last night.
ive improved cobblestone, ive made it grittier and more rock-like, also a bit grayer so there's barely any warm tint at all.
ive added biome-shaded grass sides, so it looks right, and ive redone the grass sides completely, i even added roots.
i redid the water texture, but... screwed up the animation somehow, not sure how, ill fix it tomorrow.
