5:02 is the time that the Doctor was killed in the series 6 finally. The time line was altered, so a parallel Earth was created, one that was always set at 5:02 PM.

i barely remember that... but my entire pack isn't a doctor who reference. mostly just the lapis. also, i want the TNT to be by default not yet armed.
at some point i ought to tweak it a bit so it matches up with the sides a bit better... like a border or something so the seam isn't so obvious.
Also, its animated. see there, those gears/wheels/whatever give it extra launching power. really, my dispenser shoots a whole block further than the vanilla one!*

im going to see if i can mess around with CTM to make it appear as a whole tardis embedded in rock, i think.
I would love to see that. I would go looking for Lapis just to see the TARDIS I think.
Also, I enjoyed your test map very much. I can't wait for the mob section to be complete!
Just curious, what are the individual lapis pieces going to be?
For the dispenser: it looks good, though I'm not sure about the sides. I know the furnace and dispenser both use the same non-front textures, but the face of the dispenser doesn't really blend with the sides.

the lapis block? or the ore? for the ores, CTM would only form it into a full tardis if the vein is big enough. otherwise it would just be pieces like the screenshot. if ya mean the block, it's currently just blue marble, but im thinking of changing it to blue painted wood, as in... an extra plank texture. confusing out of context, but... its hard to find someone who hasn't heard of doctor who.
anyway, yeah... the dispenser sides would blend better if i got rid of the leather pads at the corners. it has the same rusty metal corners as the rest of the sides... it just looked to plain without it. ill see what i can do. maybe ill add it to the corners on all the sides.
Apologies, meant the lapis chunks that you get when you break the ores.
ah right... i didnt even think about that. i figured they came off in blocks like iron and gold, but now i realize i completely overlooked it. good point. what to do... any suggestions are welcome.
Lapis ore deposits tend to be fairly small and often irregularly shaped. Unless you go for a tardis-in-miniature or have a way of changing ore deposit particulars, you'll probably never see one occur naturally,
I'm thinking it might be good to have the lapis ore drop individual blue-painted wood planks. Collect enough of these planks, and you can make a blue plank block (Lapis Block). Arrange enough of these blocks correctly and have CTM kick in to change them to look like a Tardis.
If anyone complains that it's non-functional, ask them to get a bunch of blue-painted planks together and see how far they get. It is just the shell, after all.

or, its just a phone box, which the tardis just happens to be disguised as.
anyway, the idea for the lapis ore was moreso that i would see if i could possibly make it a partly revealed buried tardis. if there are just 3 lapis ores touching each other, fine, maybe it will look like 3 blocks of uncovered broken tardis, with the surrounding covered by stone (or perhaps just be broken) anyway, i need to learn more about ctm, but from what i know so far, this shouldn't be out of the question.
don't worry, the animation isn't this bad ingame. it's actually worse. i really am horrible at animating XD but... its better than no animation at all at least.
Just back from vacation/hols, and doing a little catching up.
Awesome animation...don't knock your skills, mate.

no offense, but since this is my first tp, id like every aspect of it to be 100% my own. mod support and all.
however i would be open to collaboration on future texture packs, and i have ideas for a few that im pretty sure ill be doing.

kind of got the animation backward somehow, but it plays fine ingame, and that's what counts.

that works for me
im pretty sure its wood, yeah. if not, mine is anyway.
