I did as you suggested yet it still won't work, so idk...
Well, i suppose you may have to go minimalistic. Make a clean profile, with optifine, then patch over it using only custom colors, better glass, and better skies on mcpatcher. Let optfine handle the ctm and randommobs (can it do that?) and hopefully it works that way.
If not, then i'm not sure what to say, except maybe switch over to mcpatcher alltogehter. I know that kahr (the mcpatcher author) is working on getting it to be compatible with forge and other mods that it has issues with in the next update.
Oh, I just noticed something you should know - you apparently edited the poll, but the votes remained there from the last one. I had to delete my vote to vote again. So it's quite possible the results are not people's opinions at all.
I am almost entirely sure i reset it. You may have accidentally voted. Either way, it's just to see if there's any really strong opinion one way or another. If one option wins by a small margin, and i disagree, well... in the end it's still up to me. I just don't want to make something and find that absolutely everyone but me hates it.
I have just discovered this pack for the first time today and I love it. I am having a problem though, the pristine glass add-on is not working for me. I have it above the pack in the load order like it says in the instructions. Anyone have any ideas?
Edit: Sorry, I didn't realize that it only works for stained glass but not regular glass which is what was appearing broken. Would it be possible to add regular glass to the file as well?

Well, that might be tricky... What the pristine stained glass does is just replaces some properties files with gutted versions that don't actually do anything. Just the ones that tell the game to randomly add in some broken bits with the clean ones, which are used by default.
So i'd have to make entirely new textures to replace the ones in there. Not to say this is out of the question, i could certainly do it. But it will take some time.
Thanks for the quick reply, I was wondering if you could help me with the torches. I am wondering if there is a way to make it where they still have their lightning animation, but don't flicker when viewed from a distance? I have quite a few torches next to each other to light up the ceiling for the build I am working on. It looks weird when the ceiling flickers from them.

The light they gives off flickers? That's strange. The texture animation shouldn't actually effect the light the torches give off at all. Maybe you're using a mod that's causing it?
I figured out what it was; it was that once all the animations reached the same point it was making it look like it is flickering. I was wondering, is there a way to replace the torches with the torch from another pack? I tried to just drag and drop the .png file from another pack, but it turned all the torches into purple squares.

In the next updates, i'll be redoing torches into something else. I might keep the same concept, or i might not.
But if i do, i'll use random ctm to add a few different variations on the animaiton so they don't sync up.
I was wondering what the future plans are for the pack at the moment. I have read back a few pages in the thread and didn't find anything, sorry if it is posted somewhere else and I missed it. I do have to say that this is one of the most impressive 64x packs I have seen. I think it is now a running competition between Glimmar and yourself as to who can cram the most amount of detain into 64x.

Currently i'm working on a total mineral overhaul. Rocks, metal, bricks, ores, etc. Everything even remotely similar to that is getting redone along with the 1.8 update. Torches are getting redone too, as well as glowstone.
The last update was a total plant overhaul, with all the trees and plants being redone, so if you go enough pages back to see what the old plant life was like, you'll see the difference.
But a competition with me vs. Glimmar wouldn't even be fair. He's been at this way longer than me, i couldn't come close. But i try...
===================
Anyway, today i redid the redstone block. I liked what i had before, design wise, but not so much color/texture wise. So i redid it almost exactly the same thing, with redone colors, textures, and shading.
Been a while since I checked this topic... I thought you couldn't make this pack any cooler, but you did! I love all the new features, they look just as scary-cool as ever!

Yeah... currently i'm working on lapis. This is what i have now:
It's 2x2 repeat ctm. I actually kind of hate it. It's better than what i had before, but i don't think i'll be using this. Not sure where i want to go with lapis.

It's actually repeat ctm that uses 2 tiles horizontally. So... it's 128x64

Should i go redder?

Here it is:
Old VS new comparison:
New is on top.

I work on it when i can, and will get it here as soon as i can, but who knows when that will be.
