Nobody is gonna download this, cause it's in the rules that you need screenshot's and pictures. Because they are proof that it is not a virus.

Your need to tone down some of the highly contrasting colors. such as the white specks in the dirt, while it's ok to have the specks, the white ones are really "strong" to vision. and a lot of dirt isn't, comfortable, I guess, to look at.
Same thing with the orange specks in the sand.
As for your smooth stone, I see where you tried to give it more depth, but again, you chose too bright a contrasting color.
If you don't mind me saying so, I would download Paint.NET, it has a nice color palette to help you get smoother color transitions.

Listen to this guy. Also use your dodge and burn tools to lighten or darken certain spots without having to paint them over. The textures need a lot of work, but if you're willing to work on your texturing skills you can make it.

i am using GIMP right now and thanks for the support. i am just a begginer at this and i know little to none about making a texture pack. i will try and fix it as soon as i can.
really? I guess i won't be continuing this texture pack.......it was a nice try........i will keep download link up.......meh.....
it is 16x16 but i don't think i will update it regulary unless something drasticly changes.
i know but i thought it would be good. i guess i was very wrong.
Don't listen to those guys dude. They need to understand that your a beginner, and you first pack won't be great. Their probably horrible texture artists who need to down other peoples stuff to make them feel better about their work. But i would take some of the advice given to you, tone down the high contrast, and like hughe said use the dodge and burn tool. Don't give up on this, but take the constructive criticism and use it. And again, don't listen to those douche bags.

I've probably made at least 8 texture packs for myself, from when I just started, and I've never personally liked a single one... You have also to learn as well, but if you keep trying, you will get better!
I will continue this pack if I can get some more help. I need alot of help deciding what photo edit program to use, and i need alot of positive feedback. Thanks for telling me all of this advice and only when i get many more replies about how to do stuff will i change some things.
I would take this to the texture discussion, and let this thread die. I can help you more in there because it's not cluttering up the area where people try to present finished/wip packs that could use attention.

You just scribbled over the default pack. That's not a texturepack.
