Oak tree bark is actually pretty light in color. its actually darker in my pack then it is naturally, at the request of a user here. I doubt ill make it any darker. The pine tree is super dark though

Thanks for the feedback, but this is the face of the pumpkins i would cut as a little kid. its kind of a tradition to cut this pumpkin face for me so i have to keep it, its kind of an easter egg type deal

Im glad you suggested a smaller sun. i think it looks much better this way

yeah i see what youre saying. ill work on it. How do you feel about the unlit jack-o-lantern just being a regular pumpkin? ive never seen a carved, unlit jack-o-lantern in the wild lol

This is fine work for a beginner.

I will give you feedback once I test it out.

4 things:

1. The bookshelves don't really look like they have books in them.
2. You might wanna make the obsidian blocks a bit darker, to give it that creepier look.
3. Your glowstone looks like yellow dirt :/ might wanna fix that and make it look like glass.
4. Diamond picks look like iron picks; just make them a little bit more blue.

Everything else looks fine, I'll give you more feedback if I find anything else.

Thanks! The bookshelves have a wine glass and wine bottles. i plan on re texturing those, but it isnt top priority at the moment. i will check out the obsidian and probably make it darker for the next update. My glowstone should have an orange-ish glow to it. i i want it to look like stone since we now have lamps that can look fancy.

Im reworking the diamond items because i agree, theyre way too light in-game. They didnt look like that while i was editing them. the game changes the colors.

Downloading it now and using it as i type this. lol Very good.

All the stuff you mentioned is pretty much already noted and planned for change (besides the pumpkin/melon tops, ill check on those) Gigfran gave me a tip on embedding the ores, i just havnt gotten around to it. i want to get as many textures done as possible, then i will start to release updates for little tweaks

to be frank, ive actually known about this little trick for a long time. i have a background in graphic design and editorial work (im a photographer by trade) Ive just never done it on a 16x16 scale like this, which makes it much harder to make look good.

Good eye! i havnt touched the diamond yet. im not sure if i want to rework what i have or completely change the diamond. still thinking about it. agree about the iron helmet. it didnt turn out how i wanted it to. i think im also gonna town down the darker lines throughout the rest of the iron armor. it looks too contrasted for my liking.

The iron tools are my favorite too. i see so many peoples iron tools looking dark like stone. i wanted to make sure they popped and looked bright and shiny.
