For using a limited color palette, this looks outstanding. It may just be me and my love for those limited colors in older games, but it really looks that amazing, very well done!
Thank you! It was very difficult to get something half-way decent with only 16 (rather harsh) colors, although it still looks a bit-- as one person wrote in a review-- like a punch to the face. :\
Oh well, I'll just have to work on refining it further. I'm playing around with grayscale grass, which by itself cuts down on the harshness a good bit.
Lots of new/reworked textures. Most notably, new planks! I didn't change the color palette at all, merely reworked the textures.
(In other news, I'm banging my head against the desk right now trying to find a good balance between 'bright and happy' and 'not eye-searing' for the grass and leaves, but it's not going so well. :\)

I'm impressed with what you're able to do with such a limited palette. I don't really see myself using this over one particular texture pack, but I'd say it's a good showcase of your talents that you're able to make something like this within the limits assigned.
I friggin' love this pack! Oh, why is it that I always fall in love with packs that are not updated on a regular basis?
Maybe it's because you can't force true inspiration? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.......
In any case, I just couldn't stand to use this pack with an incomplete terrain.png file. Now I'm no color-theorist nor do I have a PhD in pixels, but I do have some creativity in me. So I did my best to add, at least, a few blocks to the pack. Not with the expectation that they will ever become a part of the official pack, but more as a pathetic attempt to ease my incomplete texture pack woes.
But then I had a thought. I thought that maybe, just maybe, if you saw what a fan of your pack had made, you'd become inspired to push through at least a few more blocks. So here they are, one cake, a dispenser, and a note block and juke-box.
I sincerely hope that this will in no way offend you, as I do not want to barge in on your creativity. I simply wanted to, hopefully, provide you with some inspiration in the form of fan art, I suppose.
