Like ive said. You need to make higher res texture packs, and run them, to get better FPS. it gets the dedicated graphics running, and gets you more FPS. if you dont have a dedicated card, you may not complain about FPS lag.
Well, I'd love to see your one, FYI Not everyone has a nery super computer with 100GB RAM and 100GHz Processor... So I like this pack.
Are you ****ing retarded? Minecraft needs hardly ANY ram to run, mostly Vram guys. i get 250 FPS on 256x and 40 on 16x16. just how it works. and as for you, good luck running anything at all with 100Ghz. learn your ****.
1x1 can't look good at all. Nothing has shape. Or any detail. It just a coloured square.
Well, you are the type of person I dont like, you only care about looks, not gameplay. I would download this, if I felt like it. It looks prety good. Im sorry, but looks dont make a game, gameplay does. Looks do not matter. THey are just eye candy.

Half the point of minecraft is to build something aesthetically appealing, no?
In contradiction of my own point though, some massive builds, like relative size castles, will look good based on the shape and design of the castle, while the colour of a block alone will provide as a general statement of what material would be in the space, so I do see where this could be used, even for solely aesthetic purposes. I, however, don't make large projects in Minecraft and, being a self proclaimed pixel-artist, I would prefer use of native-resolution packs.
Isn't using the name "Faithful" kind of a plagerism of Vattic's pack name?
The term faithful is a word, and in this case, it means the pack has some relation to the default. I don't see how the term is relavent here, but vattic didn't patent the term, he just used it, everyone thinks of it because he popularized a pack with that word in the title.

I suppose you're right. It could still have a more creative name though, maybe one that isn't already used...

Looks do matter in a game. Looks change how the game feels. Do you not want your game to actually look good instead of one coloured blocks? This isn't like a game for some crappy ass 80's handheld console that can't run 8-bit sprites or whatever. This is pc. Can handle much better quality of gaming. Therefore being able to customize your game to how YOU want it. And sorry if this offends you. I want my game to look good.

Curse PremiumFaithful 1p,
Faithful 2p
Faithful 4p
Faithful 8p
Default 16p
Faithful 32p
Faithful 64p
Etc.
It's quite novel but is becoming a tad too over used. Might be fun to play a prank on someone though.
Needs more pictures. Actually, scratch that. I don't want to see anymore of this.Looks do matter in a game. Looks change how the game feels.
