This seems pretty ignorant. Minecraft's default texture pack is an excellent starting point for great texture mods, such as adding CTM and animations.
"Default Edits" have the potential to be incredible.
I understand were your coming from and that's why I said "most".I know some default edits have potential but, what I have seen lately is nothing worth wasting a post for.Texture packs are supposed to be creative and original, by add a couple of feature to the default texture like clear glass, different hues, and adding ctm support is nothing that anyone can't do. Texture packs should show you managed to do something no one else could such as Sphax, Von Doom Craft, and Faerielight which received 10K dls in a matter of days. I wanna see hard work texture packs aren't something that can be thrown together in a matter of hours.

Most artists that release incredible packs have enough sense to not release it until 70% of the terrain is done at least. Doing mod support for default is all well and good, but if that's all it is, it is not a full texture pack...(and belongs on a mod related thread, not on the TPC)
These are original works that also happen to have mod support. We have standards, and some of us have years invested in these packs... 10 min default edits are a dime a dozen (this includes bucketfill packs) and don't stay around very long... why bother posting them here, where people come for quality work? (not something anyone with zero skills could just do themselves in a few minutes)
The bar was set a long time ago for what is considered good enough to be on this thread, and the majority of the community agrees on that standard. If a pack doesn't have enough work put into it to get added to this thread, they need to work harder. It's not even a hard goal to achieve.. Not having this kind of standard seems ignorant to me.
@ Atom_Byte_Craft: do a proper submission post, looks like you are good to go. It's abundantly clear you put a lot of work into your pack so far, and that is really what everyone looks for. nice start!
Hmm. I noticed my texture pack isn't there anymore. I'm a little sad to see that happen as my texture pack is probably one of the oldest still updated texture packs and was one of the first to appear on this list.

I removed any-pack that didn't have 1.3 in the title i didn't have time to read through all 130+ post so I apologize for removing your pack if it was indeed updated
Aww.. Thank you so much for making me texture pack of the week! That's so nice! Though I have to say, I love my glowstone, but maybe that's because it went back to the drawing board so many times ..
