I installed the pack, and everything works except text. For some reason it's broken.
Did you run McPatcher? This is usually the problem with text. If you have run it, are you sure it's the latest version? If you are 100% sure that both of these are not the problem then let me know. Also could you give me a screen shot of your problem?
haha okay, you take a screenshot, then go to your favorite image hosting site, like imgur or photobucket, and upload. after that you grab the Img code, it should looks something like this. [img]blablabla[img] copy and paste that into the reply box, and TADA! you are done! I will do some digging and see what I can find on your problem. I'm sorry you are having a hard time with this. :/
well I looks like it is an issue with mcpatcher, I'm saying that because you have the portal and fire animations on your grass. I'm sure this is the reason the cow is doing that as well. I will do some searching and see if I can help you out. As for the tree block, I will fix that in the next update. I've never noticed it before. :/
I just tried out Ornate Resurrected v 5.0.0 with a client patched with mcpatcher-2.3.6_03.exe. Everything looks fine. I specifically checked cows, redstone ore, grass sides and torches - there's no problems with that combination.

hmm. I have no idea of what it could be then. :/ I'm just confused at this point.
No game mods. Connected textures, Hd textures, Hd fonts, custom colours, no villager skins, no cow skins, no torch flames, no iron golem skins.
This is using the latest MC patcher, and I get the same results with Optifine.
It sounds like you've checked everything that's directly Minecraft related, so it might be time to go farther afield. Given that it seems to be all video issues, I'd check video-related items. Are your drivers up to date?
Another possible thing to check would be if your Java install is up to date.
I'm pretty sure java just updated yesterday, check and see if thats the case. Like caslomyr said check all your drivers and stuff like that. then try reinstalling or patching. Hope that helps!

More info that may help me, the graphics card appears to be a Intel® G33/G31 Express Chipset Family.
Luckily I like this texture pack enough to not care too much about the missing mob skins.

Given the information you've passed along, I see three options.
The no money cost but high time and annoyance option is to back up all your data and reinstall the entire OS. This option is counting on the problem being software-related, and at this point I think the chances of that are pretty low. Doing a backup is always a good thing, though.
The second option would be getting a new graphics card. Intel has been known to be finicky at best when it comes to gaming, so I would only use it if there were no other options. If your computer is old enough, though, this might cascade into option 3.
The third opton is to replace the machine entirely. While the most costly option, it's also the most likely to fix the problem. This may be your only option if the current crop of graphics cards won't fit the slots on your mainboard, unless you go searching for an old graphics card on purpose (which might be a very affordable option if you can find it).

well I would hope that would fix the problem.... If not then I think we are just dealing with other wordly beings that hate minecraft. wait... maybe we are! They dont wont us to find out the secret to everything, which can be found in minecraft. First off, I would like to thank everybody for being so awesome with their support comments, and private messages! I love having an amazing community such as yourself posting on here and supporting what I'm doing, it totally makes the amount of time I spend working on this worth it! I would like to ask one favor of everybody though. I have noticed that downloads have been a little slow lately, and the forum has about hit a stand still, so to show your support I would LOVE it if you guys could possibly spread the word of this pack. Just by telling your friends, or posting it on facebook or any other social media site will greatly help spread the word of not only this pack, buy minecraft as well, and hey, who doesn't like more minecraft!?!?! I make no money from this(unless you choose to support me through that adfly link, but I actually lose money from that sometimes due to transaction fees) I am only asking you to do this so that I can know that the time I take off from work and friends, even my girlfriend is not wasted. Once again, I appreciate everything everybody has done to support this pack, and I couldn't ask for a greater group of people to share this pack with, I am just asking this one thing of you in return, and it's to share this pack with all of your friends. imnumberfour's suggestion is probably a good one. Talking with other artists would help on the feedback front - especially considering they'll be speaking the same language.
I haven't downloaded the most recent version of the pack yet... I've been busy on the early access part of a new MMO launch. When I get done there, I'll take a look. I have I dislike of ads, but I've always used the adfly download for your pack.
well I applied for tpu, lets hope I get accepted. The only problem I see in it is that they probably wont like the fact that I am simply continuing this pack and it is not %100 mine. :/ and caslomyr I appreciate the adfly support! Here is a little trick I use. (get adblock) I believe it is a plugin for firefox and palemoon.

As to getting into TPU, your style is easily distinctive enough that you could do your own pack, if you have the time and inclination.
