Hi,
I was working on building a Matrix trilogy inspired adventure map, but my real life work is stalling the project, so instead of letting it sit, I wanted to share the texture pack and what I have started of the map.
This is just the texture pack. Its 32 x 32 so you will have to use a modloader to run it.
I'm drawing over a copy of "Last Days" which was made by a few different artists, but the terrain.png is about 95% finished, and when its done, this pack will be *completely* different from Last Days, so please pardon the work-in-progress aspect of it, for now.
It was not really designed to be used as a "survival mode" texture pack, although I do include some textures near the bottom for eventually making a hydrid texture map that can be. If you do check it out, please take a look at what the finished map looks like.
(sorry I don't know how to upload the game save folder itself, *derp* so just start a new single player game and copy this file over the one in your folder)
Here is the map itself, very unfinished, but feel free to play with it, add to it, or just use mods to blow it up at your own leisure. I put a lot of work into creating a detailed modern environment, with a lot more to come once I get the time to finish the map and build the actual gameplay elements for it.
If you have any comments or questions, I will try to monitor this thread.
Modern City and Post Apocalyptic are two polar opposites. You can't have both.
And, again, the guy above me is being Necroposting Champ 2012.
What's with people on these forums being dicks for no apparent reason? I just don't get it. When someone opens a forum post with content to be looked at, it ceases to matter WHEN the content was posted. If someone sees it later than the post date, then they're more than welcome to post on said topic at the date they saw it. That's like saying no-one should post on any mod thread because they were started ages ago and may not have a recent comment.

I think you are being "hostile for no apparent reason" champ.
There are threads that were started 2 or 3 years ago that still get posts and replies.
The idea that I can't mix a modern city with postapocalyptic in a texture pack... what what else WOULD you call the film The Matrix... this texture pack was designed for an Matrix themed adventure dungeon I was going to make... which MEANS I had to have blocks for building The City of the Matrix that I was building in the overworld, AND the post apocalyptic world of Zion and the Computer Core that would be built in the nether.
So obviously they CAN mix and even be quite a nice idea together.
and thanks Cestus, I actually did figure out how to upload maps and texture packs and have even completed a new adventure map since this thread was posted, and I have the ever popular Optifine just because I like the fps enhancements that it offers that Mod-loader didn't (I did try Mod-loader):

32x32 texture pack means you need MCpatcher, not Modloader.
