I don't like the super-detailed HD packs when I'm building with redstone, but I don't like those too simple ones when I'm exploring. With this pack, I tried to find the perfect balance between plain and detailed. With 2-6 colours per block, I think I hit the right mark; if I didn't, tell me what you think I did wrong.
Until I've put together a nice-looking collage of screenshots, please consider these quick ones:
Please only use the direct link if the adfly one doesn't work.
This is where I'll happily post the videos you make of/with this texture pack and post on this thread.
In other words: I need video reviews!
There is no signature image yet; I'm still working on that, but I sure do appreciate donations!
I appreciate all feedback, even negative feedback, as all feedback helps me give you a better Minecraft experience.
Think of a more original name. "A texture pack for architects" is already used by INSPIRATION by TobiwanKenobi.
Plus, his pack looks better.
Whoops, sorry. I'll have to think of a new slogan then…
Btw, that his pack looks better is your personal opinion; you should say "I like his pack better" or something like that
I'm a little confused as to why this is an architecture pack?
I was hoping to see a pack that would repurpose the textures of blocks completely to give them architectural purposes. Why don't you have great building blocks like white/dark brick, lighter planks, etc. Actually architectural blocks. The ore blocks for example have no architectural purpose and should to be honest be retextures in such a pack.
Well, this pack is certainly not for everyone. What I wanted to do was to, while keeping the original look, make every build look better.
That said, I'm sorry this pack doesn't fit your needs.
From the screenshots, I think this texture pack looks good. I like the idea of a very clean GUI, and fairly simple textures, but with bright (ish) colors.
However, when something is labeled "Architectural", I think it's something specifically for building large scale structures...kind of like the Penn Station video or the Cathedral videos you can find on YouTube. It is a very clean and smooth looking pack and I like the wood textured backgrounds in the GUI though. I have no alternate suggestions though. Maybe something random like the Polishers' Pack or the Woodgrainers' Pack. I dunno. It looks good, but "Architectural" already has an accepted meaning and use, at least as far as Minecraft Texture packs go.

Thanks for the great constructive criticism!
I really do need a better name, I just had to think of one fast

Cool, thanks! A lot of work went into this
…and an excuse for another reply: thanks!

Well, it's got nice contrasts and virtually no tiling issues, which is good for "architects"
Well, sorry for disappointing you then
But you really should try it.
