It looks nice, but the high contrast and bright colors (especially sand) give me a headache.

It is a little too simplistic... But not all that bad. Though, the ore textures look odd and inconsistent with each other.

Well unfortunately the pictures are slightly outdated, but the sand has been fixed and a number of other contrasting blocks.
