Definetly too bright, especially if we want to go by the "build your own hive" theme. Hm let's see. I wonder if the pillar quartz blocks can also be laid down sideways. That way we could make them pipes. The chiseled quartz could be broken plating (i wish samsamqwq was here) and the normal quartz could be bleached out plating (if that makes any sense)

The idea is that Jane Mail produced a "Build-A-Cocoon" kit which allegedly was composed of pure germanium blocks. This turned out to be false however as the plating quickly withered away (something Germanium wouldn't do at room temperatures) and exposed simple bricks underneath.
Should the pillar texture be able to be placed sideways like logs then the Pillar Top makes for a nice rocket launcher
Any feedback? I threw this together quiet quickly, so don't hold back your criticism.

Lovin' it. Maybe the Pillers could be something a little different than a mushroom stem? I like it the way it is, I'm just suggesting stuff.

It just hit me that connected textures is still in need of mods

I have a question related to mod lore and a future texture; what are industrial credits advanced hydrazine? pre-event coins? such as:

do I get to decide this or is it someone else's job?

I will be taking down the server to try making a modpack with some mods. I will post later what mods I want to use, and maybe you guys could help texture?

Dang nice job making it better! And thanks for the tip I'll be doing that a ton more as it really does give a good finishing thouch Also check your inbox if you haven't already, you've got quite a bit of reading to do.

those need to be put in manually though as i haven't re uploaded an updated version yet.

you all probobly know this since it was plastered on the front page, but the new snapshot has drasticly new changes to how texturepacks work. i think dinnerbone released a few toys to help with the conversion here
also the dev textures for the special acception ones in the new format are here

hope that helps you all. btw, theres a chance we might not need some assets of the patcher in the new system what with how they now support all blocks being animated, and i think since the textures are all independent now instead of one big sheet they can all be HD without falt. im still reading up on it. hope some of this helps.

[edit] okay, the game now loads in vanilla textures to fill in the missing ones automaticly, and there is near total support for all hd textures. i think the mojang system for animated textures is a bit different then the patcher version still, althogh this version seems much more simple to do (althogh that may be up for debate)
all this and more will come at the expense of only a unkown to me amount of ram while ingame!

Its alright we already heard and dealt with it and the game puts all the textures back together in game this update is to make it easier on us.
